As much as I'd love to see Tim Curry do a role, any role (before anyone thinks of pigeonholing him into villain roles, remember that he was also Nigel Thornberry), on Steven Universe, he's really dialed back on work ever since his stroke five years ago. I wouldn't say that there's no way that he'd be on the show (in fact, from a quick buzz of his latest works, an animated show is probably where he'd most likely work these days), but I don't think he'd take a recurring role at this point. So if he were to show up, I'd expect it'd be for just one or two episodes.

Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I was just thinking yesterday that Lady Gaga should voice someone on Steven Universe
Her appearance and voice alone would blow their budget probably, she is after all a big name star

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverI could totally see them trying to bring in Lady Gaga for a short but meaty role like White Diamond, or something along those lines (like a BD/YD fusion presuming, of course, that the two fusing is not White Diamond). Whether or not she'd do it... well, if nothing else, the entire ordeal behind "Weird" Al's "Perform This Way" demonstrated to me that Gaga has a very active and vocal PR team that isn't always on the same wavelength as Gaga herself. I'll give it a shrug and say "who knows" beyond the fact that I strongly suspect that the SU team, more likely than not, would probably jump at the chance to work with her if available.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Been away from the forum for a while, and just found out yesterday about the new episodes, so I'm back, baby!
Looking forward to the new episodes. From what I hear, they're apparently really good and plot-relevant, so I'm in.
Have I missed any SU-related drama/controversy since the last episode aired?
I'm curious enough to want to know, but I don't want to start another flame war just for asking.

"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw"Lion 4" leaked over a month ago, so much discussion already happened in the spoiler thread. To save some of the repetition when it finally airs on TV in a few hours, here
is a link to where discussion of it began. The thread has no leaks from future episodes up to this post
four pages later.

For the record, "Lion 4" had the only full-episode leak. The rest had the usual "first two minutes plus some screencaps" datamined from the website, then were intentionally released in whole on the website, we've just kept discussion in the spoiler thread for convenience.

Only the first episode of this upcoming bomb is. The other 4 are airing Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
