By way of stealing the ocean...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Plus she was really homesick so it was out of desperation more then anything else, she was imprisoned against her will on an alien world for thousands of years,so it;s kinda understandable that she resorted to drastic action like stealing Earth's seas to build a water tower
She's lucky she even survived her flight through space given how it's a lifeless void filled with flying rocks

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well, Lapis is a Game-Breaker on Earth, where there's enough water for her to basically be armed and dangerous pretty much regardless of where she goes. But let's move the action to, say, Yellow Diamond's arm ship. Lapis is just a fairly frail gem with nothing to manipulate beyond any water that she might have brought with her (consequently, I imagine that Lapis, in this situation, would have the sense to bring along a bubble, a jug, or something so that she wouldn't be completely unarmed, but she still wouldn't have nearly the power or versatility that she would on Earth).
However, if a Peridot/Lapis fusion did have metal-shaping powers, then even on the arm ship, she'd be a powerhouse - literally everything in reach would be a weapon. Or a shield. Or whatever she wanted it to be (and since Peri is good with machines and modern gem tech, it would stand to reason that any fusion involving her also would be, so it's not unreasonable to believe that the fusion of the two could make complex weapons on the fly). I think she would just be a complete Conflict Killer, which is part of why she hasn't come up yet.
As a side note, just to guess, this theoretical fusion would be about as tall as Garnet, maybe a bit taller.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.
A Conflict Killer is something that causes a conflict to end without a proper confrontation, not something that makes that confrontation anticlimactic.

(Reads trope page)
Okay, neither of us got Conflict Killer exactly right there, but fine, it'd be a remarkable Anti-Climax.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.> Well, for Gems the 'filled with rocks' part is the only relevant danger.
I forgot to add those flying rocks are often going really, really fast and could slam into Lapis before she even leaves the Earth. There's like a billion and one hazards in space that make simply flying through space without a spaceship a mission of no return, gem or not she would not survive.
Its cool though,I imagine there there was a passing ship that gave her a lift,or according to some posts on Reddit she found a world with warp pad and used that instead.

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverWell, actually it isn't easy to get hit by a rock in outer space. Going through asteroid belts is much chiller than Steven Universe and Star Wars would have you believe, as far as I know. I mean, you could argue this isn't true for the show, but I think it's just Rule of Cool.
Though I believe you do have to worry about space dust. Maybe?
The way it's worked in Steven Universe seems even crazier than the standard Asteroid Thicket because two space flights in a row happen to randomly run jnto space rocks after a few minutes.
Maybe it was just a continuous one...

I wonder if the ones that appear to be Beach City episodes are connected to it in some way, though?

When we're done, there won't be anything left.
