The one element that lacks focus: Gem/Human relationships...
Of course.

And when Gem stuff does attack hyoo-mans, it'll actually matter much more...because they'll care about preventing human extinction.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Remember Say Uncle? What Would Steven Universe Characters Think of Bill Cipher?
Ranging from the Crystal Gems (Steven, Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl) to the Homeworld Gems. (Lapis, Peridot, Jasper, and even the Diamonds) What would each member of each group think of everyone's favorite isosceles monster?
I apologize for coming up with stuff like this for the millionth time but I REALLY needed to get this off my chest.
Ok I understand. I guess the Crystal Gems would oppose Bill till their dying breath...wait they dont breathe lol.
Homeworld could make a deal with Bill to try and DESTROY THE CRYSTAL GEMS ONCE AND FOR ALL!
Did that help a little? Because I dont like it when peple suffer.
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.I've been wondering about Perl's reluctance to shapeshift and whether it has anything to do with how many times she's been poofed, like throughout the war Perl was possibly poofed multiple times ,and there was that one episode where she was poofed and spent like a week in her immobile gem state so maybe the damage they take each time lengths how long it takes to heal.
It could be that if you get poofed enough times you'll eventually get shattered.

Definitely a chance of a Steven Bomb, all the signs are there,it's all a matter of when

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverCome to think of it, have we ever seen her shapeshift before, even once?
I don't know, there's something a little fishy about her claim that all gems can shapeshift early on in Season 1. Peridot demonstrably can't (as we saw in "Too Short to Ride"), and while you could argue that she was made after the Homeworld Gems started cutting corners on gem production, the only gems we've seen using that power are Steven, Amethyst, Garnet and Bismuth.
No beer?! But if there's no beer, then there's no beef or beans! You could read a lot into Pearl's line about 'all gems being capable of shapeshifting' but in the end she might be excluding herself as a gem because of the way they act as servants rather soldiers, and abilities like shape shifting aren't available to them because of their low status.

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverBecause it's so easy for her do,after all since Pearl is a gem like her she should logically be able to,nevermind that that Pearls and Amethysts likely have vastly different roles in gem society and since Amethyst has never experienced that caste system she can't understand why Pearl might not enjoy the same abilities as her.
But as a counterpoint there is a possibility that Pearls are capable of shapeshifting but their society discourages it.Crystal gem Pearl likely still sees shapeshifting as something she shouldn't do and views it as improper, even all her years of being free from gem society
Peridot can't shapeshift either, which could mean she has a similar problem to Pearl in that her place in gem society means gems of her type aren't expected to,or as frequently mentioned Peridot is part of a later generation of gems where they cut corners.

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverPearl also shapeshifted her clothes in "Beach Party".
I think you guys are overanalyzing why Pearl doesn't shapeshift. Way back in Sugar's 2014 AMA
, someone asked why gems besides Amethyst don't shapeshift more and Sugar basically said not everyone has her aptitude or willingness to use it.

If the purely human related stuff was cut out, it would take away...
From what is already lacking...
