Everyone probably just speaks a universal language like in D&D or dragon ball z. I'm pretty sure the writers just treat it as a cartoon thing, and don't really think they need to explain it.

Yeah, the few times Holly Blue ignores Steven are really the first times a language barrier is a (even minor) plot point, and drawing attention to it when the answer is always going to be that there is no good reason why Holly can't understand Steven when the whole plot of the arc is predicated on Blue Diamond understanding Greg would be silly.

It's been fun. That was definitely the joke...as it often is.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Just so we're all on the same page: Tomorrow is a new episode (if you live in the States, if you live in Canada the episode won't be broadcast until next week and I swear if I go looking for the new episode on youtube and come across a huge spoiler right in a video's title AGAIN someone is going to get their form dissipated) and then we're back on hiatus, right?
As far as official sources go, TV Guide and CN's website
only list episodes of anything going out to April 2nd ("Too Many Warriors" is a short from another show).
TV Zap 2 it (which is an official source, but that doesn't make it infallible) still lists the next episode as premiering tonight, which obviously didn't happen.
There's a DuckTales reboot coming out.
How is this relevant to Steven Universe you ask? Well, watch the trailer and see if you can spot the Steven Universe alumnus. Also, Scrooge McDuck is voiced by the Tenth Doctor himself, David Tennant.

It is interesting that the reason Steven can't heal corruption is that it "affects the mind, not the body", and yet the only time he tried, she made almost a full mental recovery, down to remembering who she was, what she did, the circumstances surrounding her corruption, and how to write (albeit not well), and the remaining corruption was almost solely restricted to her physical body, and her ensuing degradation was also almost entirely physical mutation, hell, she even remembered how to get back into her spaceship when she was almost entirely Centipeedle.

Found this in my newsfeed earlier, a review of an SU comic featuring Stevonnie meeting Kiki Pizza and unwittingly ending up as her prom date.
It's available now. Just $4 on comixology (checked there since I used it for some Thrilling Adventure Hour stuff and had a membership)
Steven Universe (2017-) #2: http://www.comixology.com/Steven-Universe-2017-2/digital-comic/474575
There's a preview of them trying to Stevonnie their way into a PG-13 movie

Centi actually came really close to being cured that one time,so spit can reverse some of the effects for a limited time before they slip back into a feral state, maybe there's something that has to go with the healing spit for the change to stick
But yeah it effects their minds not their bodies
