I liked the episode. I saw it coming, but I really enjoyed the Lapis material.
I swear I'm like the only one here who likes Lapis through and through. I have no problem seeing her as vindictive, petty, and angry, but also somber, contemplative, and being sweet.
Plus that Ruby didn't change her personality at all. She's happy throughout the whole event. I really liked that she's not just cruel, or if she is, she can't empathize with others' beyond her own happiness.
I think Navy's plan to tell Yellow Diamond is a forgone conclusion at this point, but, they've basically failed their mission.which was to locate Jasper and report on the cluster, and I don't think Navy won't be able to report on the cluster or Jasper because she doesn't know
Even if Yellow learns about the rebels, she may not even care with that geo weapon that's supposed to be emerging at any moment, and since none of them know it's been bubbled they won't commit any large scale invasion force because of the risk from the cluster that they think is active.

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverOne thing I wonder is if Navy might be considered corrupted by enemy influence even if she remains loyal to Homeworld. Lapis couldn't return due to being a Fish out of Temporal Water, Peridot tried to have it both ways but fell on Earth's side. I could see a third variation in Navy, completely loyal to her team but seen as having been corrupted/influenced.
I think that would depend on just how much of her loving Earth things was an act.
That'd be terrible...especially if it can travel at light speed.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. Her voice was nice in her previous appearances, but here it borders on being both annoying and creepy—which I'm sure is the point, as she's playing up her cutesy nature.
I prefer the idea that Navy was acting out of spite for the Crystal Gems specifically to her just being some kind of sadistic monster by complete coincidence.
They could've played it out comedically...but that wouldn't be satisfying.

Newbie Ruby was the 2nd most likely to cross-over...due to lacking experience.

Which is why I think Navy actually is smart, because she apparently hatched her plan spontaneously based only on how Peridot acted when she ran out in "Hit the Diamond".
