It was a beautiful episode and I loved every second.
Steven's interactions with Lars there sort of reminded me of my interactions with my girlfriend.
That's a bad sign, isn't it?

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. It's pretty normal to not want to share personal business...when it gets to a certain point of nosiness.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.
We'd reached levels of PoMonote unseen since the Uncle Grandpa crossover

Sounds more like Reality Subtext to me. Po Mo is more like anything involving the stuff Peridot/Lapis do together. Or that one time with the T-Shirt and the mayor. Or Beachapalooza,
Never mind.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Lauren Zuke made a simple, but confusing promo
(their first promo in a long time) for "Room for Ruby". It has some details about production:
- Switching up the usual boarding teams, this episode was boarded by Lauren Zuke and Raven Molisee, the first time either had boarded with someone besides Hilary Florido and Paul Villeco, respectively. Zuke called it "the first", so I'm guessing it wasn't a one-off thing.
- Zuke mentions having "4 or 5 more episodes[...] left to air", and so apparently left the crew some time ago. This is not evidence of the show ending at season five—it has 26 episode, and "4 or 5 more episodes" from one boarder will go about 12-16 into next season.

Oh hey, in other news: https://twitter.com/DeedeeMagnoHall/status/839599984014049280
Looks like we might get a Pearl and Rose duet.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?

On one hand, this might be a ratings blip - they happen for various reasons (heck, it might have also just been people seeing the episode synopsis and figured it was Filler). I wouldn't put stock in one episode having lower ratings.
On the other, we are talking about Cartoon Network. I haven't trusted anything they've done regarding scheduling a good show since they screwed over Megas XLR.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.
