But why would a gem murder another gem in a society where all gems have a function and it seems like the first rebellion took place on Earth and there hasn't been another since?
I don't know, maybe the writers just haven't thought this through but it's weird to me that the gems are so hellbent on conquering when there seems to be no reason for them to except For the Evulz.
Oissu! The way Peridot uses the word Clod it's clearly meant as an insult, although probably not a severe one. This is how Amethyst responded to being called a rock.

Because if they didn't, their species would eventually go extinct.

I wonder, do the Homeworld Gems might have things they consider too extreme even for them?

Not really a bomb...
More like a giant Zombie...made of a bunch of smaller ones.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I seem to remember that Peridot, pre-Heel–Face Turn used "pebble" as an insult at one point. I have to imagine that any number of dirt-related terms could be used to be an insult, although no idea as to which one would be worst. Mud, silt (those two maybe as an insult towards Lapises in general), clod, pebble, chip, clump, gley, detritus, boulder (probably for larger gems like quartzes), gravel... lots of ways to go on that.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.

Which would be a worse insult to Gems? "Clods" or "Rocks"?
