It sounds like something of a What If? AU or something, just by the sound of the title. But really whenever Lion is involved, who knows what could happen.
Rose left a second video in Lion explaining herself and her conduct during the war. Lion keeps it hidden somewhere Steven wouldn't find it until it's time.
Who would that be for?
Steven doesn't want to learn about war...kid...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Nothing about how she approached war is going to teach him about Gems...
That's what Garnet and Pearl are for...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. Not really...
Impregnating planets with Gem seeds is what they do.
Fighting is just apart of that...
So unless they end up starting another war, it isn't necessary...
They aren't a true warrior race...

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. Are we sure they're not a warrior race? If Yellow Diamond's song is anything to go by they have a standing army at all times, and seeing how gems are Nigh-Invulnerable that army is probably pretty massive...
Oissu! They're producing more than just warrior Gems...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. The question is, why build more colonies? It doesn't seem like gems need to eat or sleep, so it's not like they need to be growing food for themselves. And if they just stopped presumably there'd be enough space for them, so what's the end goal? Or are we just thinking too hard about these things?
Oissu! It's a vicious cycle...with no end goal in sight.

The thematic meaning is already obvious—that Rose's history is so different than what Steven thought it was from the video.
