I dunno, I saw a lot of serious online hype for the new gem. So you've got people pissed off about more Ronaldo episodes, people pissed off that there's no new gem, otherkin pissed off by the episode (I mean I'm not a fan of otherkin and don't understand it but it seems rude to take potshots at them), while male elements pissed off by the episode thinking that it's some kind of potshot at them, and probably Zuke haters pissed off too just because she hasn't been fired (I don't find this view reasonable but it probably exists so I'm mentioning it).
Yikes.
Oissu!Considering when Andy first appeared was during a particularly heated time in American politics, I can't blame anyone for disliking him. Hell, being voiced by Carl aside, I don't even like him too much. He reminds me of the more conservative side of my family.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?To a lot of people, it seemed to be a call to come together. Whether or not people tried that, it became So. Much. Worse. Reminds me of a criticism for Zootopia I've heard: coming together and accepting change is good... But sometimes people are just hateful garbage-people.

Ronaldo continues to be obnoxious. Also, the marketing for this episode was just plain stupid and inflammatory. I mean, who thought it was a good idea to advertise a new gem (which people love seeing, look at the ratings for That Will Be All and Bismuth) and then have it be Ronaldo's gemsona (Nearly everyone hates Ronaldo)? Fans just feel cheated.
