The murals in the colony is more a sign of influence, which would translate to a bigger threat unless you go Straight for the Commander before any fighting starts.
Of course, then it's that much stranger that we've never seen a single gem wearing a white emblem.
Seems to indicate that White Diamond is totally hands off with Earth.
Blue Diamond helped against the revolution and Yellow Diamond more or less handles the Earth problem currently but maybe White Diamond never got involved.
Unless you believe the theory that Pearl is White Diamond's Pearl. Doesn't necessarily gel with her spacesuit having the pink diamond logo though.

Forever liveblogging the Avengers@46999 Maybe I am throttling the drama drive on that WMG a bit much, true. That said, there's a distinct level of Serial Escalation with the drama and the threats. My hypothesis was basically me trying to think of what would be the most plausible yet hardest hitting Wham Episode based on what we have.
Also, if there's one thing I've learned, it's to never assume that an author/group of authors would never be that cruel. Authors feed on fandom suffering and tears. (Yes, I'm mostly joking about that. Mostly.)
As for the endless speculation as to who owned Crystal Gem Pearl before she became part of the rebellion... I believe the theory that she was originally White Diamond's Pearl, but then White Diamond gifted her, and that she consequently ended up belonging to Rose Quartz (either that WD gave Pearl to Rose directly, or WD gave Pearl to Pink Diamond, who then gave her to Rose).
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. That room on the Moon could be connected to all of this. Whatever it is, it's on a Diamond base where only the most high of highs were. It's pretty obvious Pearl knew about it, heck she might've been the one activating all those bits of Gem tech there. I really do think she belonged to a Diamond at some point, how else would she have known about it?

I get it. I suppose I just feel that people throw around shattering a bit too casually? Not saying you are, necessarily - it's just a general feeling I get.
I'm expecting that Blue Diamond will be taken out at some point; she's very powerful, but she's also sympathetic, and having her removed will work to kick the tone into high gear like people were saying about White a few posts ago. Someone pointed out on Tumblr that there are some parallels shown in Three Gems and a Baby, where Steven's pink Gem is bared with a diamond-shaped opening in his jumper and Greg wears a blue blanket that covers his face like Blue's robe. I'm almost certain that Pink Diamond was Blue's 'daughter' or otherwise her child, not a lover or anything.

It's been fun.> In the meantime, instead of wondering if White or Pink is more likely, maybe we should consider what each would mean for their or Pearl's character.
I imagine a Pearl influenced by White Diamond wouldn't be so jumpy,They probably act more like Garnet with more ruthlessness and cunning
Pearl's influenced by Pink Diamond are probably more lively and show keenness to follow any order, but are cautious and very protective of their new Diamond
have a listen and have a link to my discord serverOld Jasper concept art
is the best meme this week. Also possibly already posted? Idk.

We don't know what PD or WD is like and if our Pearl didn't belong to either of them, then there's no guessing as to what either of their personalities are like.
That said...it doesn't even matter.
Pearl is Pearl, don't diss.

What is even happening?

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. That seems like a 2nd name...
And it has stone in it...not exactly villain mineral.

I'll admit, the hints are mostly circumstantial - stuff like "White Diamond's mural had the most planets on it" and "the symbol for the Diamond Authority always puts the White Diamond on top" - this is why I hedge and say that it's hinted. Those could be Red Herrings, admittedly, and part of it is extrapolation based on how I think the story is structured on a macrocosmic scale. And if I'm wrong, it would hardly be the first time I, let alone any other troper, misread the tea leaves in that regard. I freely admit that it's just a guess, and there's plenty of room for me to be wrong on that.
I mean, I do have a very specific scenario I'd do (if I were a show-runner) for WD's introduction, which I'll spoiler for those who don't want to see my WMG - after some conflict, Blue Diamond is going to come around to seeing the point of the Crystal Gem philosophy, and she'll make overtures towards a lasting peace... only to be met with a Diabolus ex Machina Heel–Face Door-Slam where White Diamond suddenly swoops in and shatters Blue Diamond, setting the stage for the final confrontation. But it's just one way that I could see it playing out.
