That first one doesn't exist even...
So to the abyss it goes...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Sure it does.
Peridot still thinks very highly of Amethyst. Even if its not romantic doesn't make it not a relationship.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThat wasn't the point...
Randomness just needs some reaffirmation of that fact through more interactions.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. On and Off for a while now...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Eh, SU is the type of show where I'd prefer we not see any canon relationships (aside from stuff like parents or Ruby and Sapphire). Zuke saying that Amethyst was just a crush for Peridot does nothing but incite conflict among fans, and I think they shouldn't have made those comments. It's just really bad form.
They said fans were allowed their interpretations
The post was just so people don't have to play guess the intention
Fans were incensed before the post. Fans are always incensed. The word does stem from 'fanatic' after all
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThere's nothing wrong with that sequence of events...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. And Too Short to Ride was also Lauren Zuke and Hilary Florido too so hey
its the arc probably
It's not even out of character. Amethyst can be as insensitive to others' feelings as she is brittle about her own

Forever liveblogging the AvengersAmethyst also threw away Peridot's enhancers, which is slightly bad but then you could argue that if you depend on those things that make you useful (or in Peridot case, formidable) why should you lose them altogether?I know Peridot now has some powers but with her limb enhancers she could even stronger
have a listen and have a link to my discord serverThe problem is that Amethyst is portrayed as right. Peridot lips up with her and an entire episode is devoted to the apology, but Amethyst screws with her but it's okay
And likewise, it's an episode about how Peridot hates herself and think she's useless and... is completely proven correct. So now she has magic powers.
Amethyst was right, right?

Re: Zuke. I think that her particular writing of Lapis and Peridot as characters has a very specific tone to it (Lapis's constant shifts between withdrawn and socially clueless to cynical and sarcastic being the most notable example), and some people don't like that characterization, or at least how seemingly large of an influence Zuke has on their characters.
I think that shipping plays a role in it as well, but it's not like that's the entirety of the story. I mean 4chan went from loving Zuke to absolutely hating Zuke.
