Well, that was an episode. At least we got Peridot and Lapis interacting with Connie AKA the first time Lapis has interacted with anyone other than Peridot, Steven or Jasper.
The new sign is pretty sweet.
Was Peedee always flailing his arms enthusiastically in the opening?
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I would have liked that too, especially after so long without seeing any new ones.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing. Not in accessible populated areas even...
There was a new episode, well how about that?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. So it's been a long time since I've posted here. Getting an insight into the Diamonds grief wasn't unexpected but was still nice.
You know, even if they do end up getting redeemed or whatever, and idea I have softened on, I'm still irritated by how so many people are acting as if Blue Diamond mourning Pink somehow means she's not really a villain or a threat.
That she (and Yellow) are not two-dimensional cackling dictators doesn't mean they aren't threats. You can tell just from her reaction to Sapphire.
Still, the bomb was good. I might start following this thread again, I hope the conversation is still interesting, it seems to be.
This is reminding me of that episode of Married... with Children where the D'Arcys roleplay as Al and Peggy Bundy to spice things up.
Figures Connie would be the one to finally point out how being thousands of years of years old doesn't keep gems from being really childish.

Is it because of this shows anime nature that people expect characters not to get shelved as often or for as long as they do?
Character frequency is important apparently.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I know it was a joke, but Lapis' "I've almost drowned lots of people." line made me think "Connie, Steven, and who else?" Has Lapis been waterboarding humans offscreen for her own amusement?
She was probably just being dismissive...as for not having to apologize to some rando-human.

Please, when you are giving a time to random people in the Internet, use UTC/GMT instead of your local time. You don't even need to make the conversion yourself, just say 7:00pm, GMT-5. Not everyone is familiar to the 3 letter code for every time zone, but they are much more likely to know how their own correlates to GMT.
