I rewatched Warp Tour today, and I kinda noticed something. I know that a lot of people who are less keen on loving Pearl often point that that episode as why, because her attitude about the warps is kinda condescending towards Steven, but at the same time I'm surprised nobody called Garnet out on her behavior. She doesn't even say much, she just rubs Steven's head and kinda gives off this really condescending vibe of babying the poor kid up like he doesn't know any better.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Speaking of Warp Tour, Steven's characterization in that episode always reminded me of a pre-teen who's starting to realize that adults aren't always right, and becoming more willing to argue with them.
Yeah, that's a pretty good idea.
So you could say Amethyst understands the physical wants of humans, Garnet gets the emotional desires, and Pearl thinks of the intellectual aspect.
Those are very interesting ways to look at how the Gems interact with humans. You guys might be onto something.
I think it helps that at the end of Warp Tour — well, okay, before Peridot shows up but after Steven was provably right about seeing something in the Warp Pad space — that Garnet calls herself out to Steven, immediately and in no uncertain terms. She's clearly ashamed that she didn't give Steven so much as the benefit of the doubt, let alone the actual trust she's otherwise tried to offer him.
It is interesting to note that why she acted that way seems to have been exactly the same as Pearl and Amethyst's true motivations for their dismissal of Steven's claim: Not even wanting to even consider the idea of Homeworld's return. Also interesting is that Garnet's rationalization for this is less like Pearl's impenetrable circle of reasoning* and more like a more placating version of Amethyst's abdication of responsibility* . It seems like a good look into Garnet's foibles.
"Back to the Barn" was on and I saw something that bugged me. Garnet is eating popcorn, but then here she stops herself from eating one kernal, looks at it, and shakes her head.
I don't quite get what she's doing, or why.
She's obviously reacting to the situation...
She disapproves.

So what? Does that mean she only ate every other piece of popcorn in that container?
Plot twist: Ruby is a foot fetishist.
If so would that make it pleasure for Ruby or jealousy from Sapphire?
Also, just had a mild mind-blow at discovering Steven and Rose have the same laugh/chuckle
. I'm an absolute sucker for that kind of attention to detail.

That article states the exact opposite, though;
"There are [sic] no confirmation yet from Cartoon Network nor from creators of the show whether "Steven Universe" Season 4 will air on January and it is likely that the show will take another hiatus from television airing."
Plus, I'd doubt the credibility of it anyway if it includes a video for a fan theory at the end.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Want to bet other Homeworld Gems are going to lose all respect and loyalty towards the Diamonds and defect like Peridot?

Garnet's more understanding of humans' emotional needs. Since she views herself through the lens of a relationship, she's more intune with how people tick. After she understood the lengths that Jamie was going with his infatuation, she gave a stern, but not unkind discussion about his feelings and helped him work it out.
So you could say Amethyst understands the physical wants of humans, Garnet gets the emotional desires, and Pearl thinks of the intellectual aspect.
