I feel like this episode is an allegory to something, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff. On the one hand, Lapis high-fiving Peridot.
On the other, I can tell this is about to go south fast.
My various fanfics.A whole bunch of inside Gem jokes...awkward.

Me too.
I think, based on what the show was going for, Andy is only the show's version of homophobic because he feels left out when so many new types of relationships are okay to have, and he still can't find happiness in one.

"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawYep. Meta as fuck. anvilicious as fuck, but it was a Thanksgiving special, so it's justified.
"We be we baby!"Honestly, after the past week or two that I've had, I think that I needed this episode a lot.
Shit hasn't really been going my way, so to speak. Not stuff that I wanna discuss in this thread, but this episode is what I needed.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? That was nice. Greg's relatives were a subject we hadn't explored before, although we knew he had some. I like Andy. Yeah, he's kind of a jerk, but it's friggin' Carl man. Hope he gets a dogfighting scene if Homeworld ever invades Earth again.
Interesting to see Steven confront some his insecurities about not being fully Gem or fully Human. It's implied every once in awhile, but rarely explored in depth.
To be fair, there's not much space in the temple.
Not quite what I expected from a 30 minute episode, but that's okay. More of a Thanksgiving special than anything.
Oh God! Natural light!

Who bets he'll end up pissed and racist At the end?
"We be we baby!"
