Steven's blowup in Keystone Motel was more about Garnet bringing the fight on the road when Steven wanted to get away from it.
While Garnets deserves to deal with the betrayal at her own pace, she was inadvertently taking it out on Steven. Literally making the environment too uncomfortable for Steven and also destroying things.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI highly dispute the idea that Garnet is meant to be seen as being unfair to Pearl, considering how things were resolved in "Friend Ship".
I think the main problem in "Keystone Motel" was that Ruby and Sapphire were dealing with the problem in a way that hurt themselves and the people around them.
Oh God! Natural light! So, the extended version of the Gem Harvest clip aired at Comic Con.
Aside from being a hapf hour special, airing in November...
Peridot and Lapis are growing corn and pumpkins, thinking it'll be sentient when it comes out of the ground. Steven explains they're wrong, and Peri makes a comment about missing fully grown gem soldiers.
There should be a reason for that...a familial reason.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Man, we are going back and forth on the whole 'It's gonna be a lighthearted episode!' and 'It's totally not!', aren't we?
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenI'd be kinda disappointed if Jasper comes back in an episode with such weird art (I feel really bad saying it, I am sure the storyboarders did their Very. Best. But Peridot's head tho.) but at the same time not disappointed at all because I want mai waifu back immediately.
I'm betting it'll probably be something completely different though. Still batshit crazy plot-advancement, but not that.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Distinction between half-hour episode and two-parter...
Sometimes the 2nd part of a two-parter doesn't air on the same day.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I wonder if the show can transition into being a half-hour show regularly. I highly doubt that will happen, but it would give the episodes more room for plot if they can be twice as long as they currently are.
"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawThat's not likely to happen for any show...the run-time they chose, they're stuck with it.
Unless they want constant two parters for anything plot related.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice....I finally got around to watching Onion Gang. Yes, I put it off for weeks. Shut up, don't judge me.
- Soup kinda looks like Frisk but with a pot on their head
- I want to see more of these kids, they could be really interesting characters
- Why does Onion show absolutely no demonic tendencies in this episode
- This was pretty cute for an episode that adds absolutely nothing to the plot

Yeah I saw you reblog that and generally agree with you. Plus I kinda got the feeling that Garnet really wasn't in the mood to talk about it or actually get help. She kept pushing the topic away to be angry by herself.
Oh really when?
