A bit late, but I was hooked the moment I realized the show had the Connie character.
And then I watched the first episode (not the pilot) and I laughed my ass off, so I just kept going instead of skipping to the Connie episodes. (I got a list.)
But the show, while supposedly mainly about the Gems, the Gems don't interest me much compared to Connie and slice of life. So I am having difficulty with the question of who my favorite gem would be, unless the asker means favorite party member in Attack the Light (Garnet).

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!![]()
But the Gems she imprisoned weren't "all" Jasper types...
There's a pretty major issue I feel I need to address...am I the only one who can't walk in those cheap flip-flops that Steven wears? I can't walk in them at all I don't understand how people walk in them the thong feels like it's cutting my feet and they just flop right off when I take a step they don't stay on or close to the heel at all? I don't understand how they function as shoes.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Just not used to them I guess? They're very common where I live even before flip-flops became a status symbol. I used to wear them all the time, but now I wear crocs and sandals more.
Make sure the one you're wearing is tight and fitting enough, otherwise you'll have to grab the middle pole thing in between your large and second toe, have to drag the footwear around, and it'll be painful after a while.

Steven has the benefit of being toon-ish, they don't flop...unless the scene calls for it. Looking deceptively comfortable.
In case if someone was curious of my answer to my earlier question it is episode 35, "Lion 3: Straight to Video".
Having now watched the first season in its entirety, my feeling are somewhat torn on the series as a whole, I feel like it took way too long to get there and I'm someone who loves the slow burn. I think that of the first 34 episodes they could have cut a good third and it would have made the season actually better.
Still, once it got there it was pretty good. A couple of brilliant episodes and a bunch of good ones. Base reluctance to move on to the second season is surprisingly high as I fear a relapse, but since I've gotten this far I'll probably give it a chance.

Another recording session pic
, this one including the voices of Steven, Pearl, Sapphire, and... Lars? I don't know enough about the recording process to know if this means those character are all in the same episode, much less scene.
It's nice that a lot of the actors work together, it really does show at times when the emotion's really on point. Learning in an interview that Grace and Zack did the beginning of "Winter Forecast" with marshmallows in their mouths was adorable.
I found to my surprise's Greg's one of the few characters that hasn't worked in the same studio at least once.
It was necessary...a more clear example of how Future Vision works, unless the events of the episode just weren't taxing enough.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It also established that Garnet can temporarily transfer her Future Vision to others, which was used in "Jailbreak" (and wasn't it used more recently as well?).
Oh God! Natural light! It was used 3 episodes ago...

Biggs has shown up as one of Jasper's fuzzy friends (the brown one). The green and pink one was Ocean Jasper.
