Onion has a gaggle of friends, surprise!
They like to cause mischief, not surprise.
Mischief by flashing people, maybe surprise...
They also do regular kid stuff, not surprise.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.7 episodes isn't enough for da kick start, it's just been average so far.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. The mention of the summer's end in "Onion Friend" made me try to assess the show's calendar again. I think the it suddenly stopped making sense during the third season:
- The first half season starts at an indeterminate time, but ends with the beginning of summer* .
- The second half season advances things through the next winter* , apparently ending in late winter or early spring.
- The second season reaches late spring right before the Barn Arc* , which itself seems to be set over one to two months in later summer* .
- The third season starts at the end of summer* , but I can't find any hints as to where it went.
- Just from the seven episodes of season four, summer has apparently ended* , then started, then ended again* .
So I think I had a SU dream last night. I watched two "new" episodes. I can't say anything about the first one, because dreams
, but I do remember there was a gut-punch of some variety at the end.
IIRC, the second one involved Steven going to meet with some gems from Homeworld at a neutral site (which was clouds for some reason— not even the Sky Arena, just clouds). The gems were from Blue Diamond's court, so Lapis accompanied him, possibly as a mediator... and was subsequently shunned by the other blue gems (some of whom were Lapises themselves, and most of whom had somewhat Off-Model faces).
At the end, there was (somehow) a full-scale, Color-Coded for Your Convenience battle between an army of blue, yellow, and pink gems (the latter being the CGs and, presumably, additional members or allies). At some point during the chaos, Pearl is knocked down, but finds herself face-to-face with another Pearl (a little shorter, to distinguish the two)— a non-combatant, running support and/or triage for the Homeworld soldiers. CG Pearl feigns innocence and pretends to be a servant like her; HW Pearl takes her aside to some quiet corner of the battlefield, and confesses that she's terrified out of her wits at the fighting and really wants to bail. CG Pearl offers to protect her and help her out. The battle ends soon after, and once the dust settles, she introduces the CGs to the other Pearl... who then knifes her in the back, poofs her, and tries to escape with her gem. * End of episode.
After that, I think I talked to my brother a bit, with him asking me if I'd seen the new episode yet. I woke up shortly after that.

Ooh, are we talking SU dreams? Because I just had one too.
It involved me discovering that an old middle school teacher of mine (who was for some reason managing an arcade/pawn shop), was a giant Jasper fan, who even had the official Jasper hat and pins. Then he asked if he could fuse with me in order to learn where my pal Jasper was so that he could meet her.
It was confusing.
It might be best to assume/pretend "Onion Gang" aired out of sequence. If you stick it between "Buddy's Book" and "Mindful Education," the timeline makes perfect sense.
Blueeyedrat, that second dream sounds disturbingly plausible as the plot for an episode. It's always interesting when your subconscious mind turns out to be a really good Gen Fic writer.

Yes, and "that spot" was in the American Southwest
◊. The other map
◊ shows both at once: Beta in the west, Prime on the east coast.

Some leaves, in one area, were turning. Seasonal changes aren't completely uniform nor entirely predictable one year to the next.
It makes for a pretty compressed timeline for Season 3, but it's not irreconcilable to the calendar as we know it.
Probably.

Well, since we're officially in a hiatus, I guess the only way to keep this thread alive is asking questions, so I'll start:
I've said before that this show feels like it's in between two much more...eventful shows.
That in mind, if the show had a Spin-Off after it ends (or gets cancelled), would you rather watch a show about the first rebellion led by Rose Quartz, or a Time Skip to when the rebellion is heating up again, this time being led by Steven?
"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw

It wasn't bad. I just didn't get much out of it.
