The vast majority of the time this show does a plot that seems cliche, they do something original with it that makes it work.
The one time I can think of off the top of my head where it didn't work is Dropbeat Dad.

> They do have an actual ending planned, though.
but it will never be the perfect ending everyone dreams about
Like,I think Steven will look at Gems like Jasper,Bismuth and Eyeball and resize while he can save them the gem empire will always produce more like them, and that his mother's rebellion had done more harm then good ,so he repairs the homeworld warp and directly confronts the remaining diamonds..from there I have no idea what's supposed to happen next
The proper ending they have in mind probably involves Homeworld being liberated from Diamond control
have a listen and have a link to my discord serverWait, Regular Show is doing a space arc? Like where the cast gets a spaceship and goes on adventures to different planets?
The Park got sent into space...thas the non-spoiler version.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I know its really, really, REALLY old, but I dont think the children's programming on Steven Universe is good. Seriously, "Crying Breakfast Friends" is funny, but someone here actually said its intelectually challenging, that "It shows kids its ok to be sad" and that "It beats most of the real world kids programming". No, just...no. Even Greg points out the badness of CBF by saying "I used to like cartoons". Im really sorry, but I feel ticked off by this. There are emotionally compelling real world cartoons and kids shows. Didnt anyone see any of the more emotional Sesame Street episodes?
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.![]()
The comparison was to Barney...not the good Sesame Streets.

She's not thinking about Rose. She's thinking about this cool mystery woman with awesome hair. She strikes up a conversation with S, and from what we saw, never treated S like a Replacement Goldfish. They flirted, she got S to laugh, and she got her number. She's not thinking about Rose anymore, and that's a very good thing.
Maybe pink hair is just Peral's trigger.

@smokey: So she says, but she also sung "why can't I move on" not all that long ago. And they didn't really have to make her look THAT similar. We'll have to see what happens. If anything. Doesn't help that beyond her looks and pretty good taste in music, we know literally nothing about this character yet.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. That's why she is called Mystery Woman...

But aren't Gems already in space?
