"Mindful Education" really had some important lessons on emotions. It's a very mature episode most adults can relate to when it comes to denying your regrets/putting off problems until something breaks.
Even though it hurts, even if it's a painful process, Steven was still able to overcome the strain of survivor's guilt with Connie's help.
I think that's one of the most important things to take away from the show. That relationships aren't always easy to work through, but learning about each other is key to trust, and with that trust you can become better than your faults.
