Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. From season 2 onwards anyway.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I’ve also never watched Gravity Falls (apart from bits of an episode out of the corner of my eye showing on a TV monitor while I was having pizza with friends). And I kind of fell off the AT train when they decided that Lemongrab was a character that needed to be brought back over and over again.
He's hit or miss really...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I'd like more episodes where the humans the the Gems interact in a major way. Peridot is far more interested in human culture than any of the others, even arguably Amethyst, so she's conducive to that sort of thing, but I'd like to see some with the others as well.
In general, I like the idea that Steven might cause the Gems and their human neighbors to start to connect and bond in ways that Rose never could.
Yeah, it ended a while ago...6-7 months.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well, I missed a lot of discussion. I swear, I'll refresh it every five minutes and see nothing, but I leave for a couple hours and there's half a dozen new pages.
I remember actually catching the pilot when it first aired, and thought it was great. The fact that it was directed by GenndyTartakovsky immediately made me think the show had potential. The visuals of every episode were amazing. I basically just watched reruns on and off until Season 2, and I just caught whatever I missed online. One episode I really remember liking was "Alone Together", for exploring the idea of two kids Sharing a Body, not just in a non-comedic way, but from a perspective I never thought of before.
I only started regularly watching after the Week of Sardonyx started, because I didn't want this to end up like Adventure Time, where I miss a ton of episodes and get put off of catching up. And it wasn't until that week ("Keystone Motel" in particular) that I thought that the show was one of the best animated shows on television.
"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawLemongrab is barely on AT anymore after the Lemonhope episode. Like, he got one focus episode, The Mountain, and that one, while divisive, was at least commended for rescuing his character and making him complete his development. After that, he's only cameoed once as a gag dating Lumpy Space Princess.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Meh, I still like AT, and I'd even argue that its most recent season has been excellent. I do hope that they actually wrap things up soon and give the show a proper conclusion.
Anyways, back on topic: Now that we're four seasons in, do any of you still prefer the pilot's designs for the main characters?

GUNDAMU GUNDAMU

Gravity Falls had a horrible schedule, something like three months between an episode? At least with SU, we either get one episode a week for a few weeks, or a Stevenbomb for a week or two. If it was just one episode a month, I'd probably lose interest.
