It's mostly episodic anyway, so those people got their wish.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I've kind of lost track with Adventure Time and the episodic nature doesn't really help. I've still never watched Gravity Falls and know nothing about it except it's at a camp or something.

Even with gems' indefinitely long lifespans, that seems too old. Rose's rebellion seems to be the first of significance, yet the fact that it could happen at all relied on gems being inherently capable of self-determination. For it to have taken that long to come up seems strange.
I mean consider it compressed to a human timespan. You could say a gems' average lifespan is 1000 times a human's (and I think that's a high estimate), but even then it would be like a human empire going 3.8 million years without a rebellion.

x 4 You mean everyone's different and have varying opinions about things they watch? How crazy is that?

I'm part of the AT fandom that probably would like more arcs and actual storytelling. I absolutely love the mythology of the world of Ooo, like my favorite episode for a very long time was I Remember You. So the more episodic random stuff wasn't always my favorite, especially when I didn't always care a ton for the episodes focusing on side characters.
I was also a huge fan of Finnx FP's romance. So you can figure how I felt about the direction that took.

Well, it definitely doesn't take place at a camp...

It's even crazier than that.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It takes place in a small town in Oregon where weird shit is always happening. It's basically a kid's X Files, but replace aliens with assorted weirdness and they actually resolve plots. You should watch it. Everyone should watch it, actually.

There's a much bigger divide with AT. The show is so experimental that you'll have one camp of people who'll loath one episode's existence and another camp defending it to the end. Season 6 went into this weird philosophical phase that the writers characterized as being "heady", and to this day I still find a massive divide over people either loving it or hating it. Didn't help that it led to a massive decline in viewership and CN screwing the show over.

It was one episode two months ago...on the 7th.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Blame CN for that. They've been messing up the AT and SU airing dates to where even the current AT showrunner is confused.
Like, one time they were supposed to air this one episode, but on the day it was supposed to air, he tweeted that CN was pulling it. Then it aired anyways and he tweeted he had no idea what was even going on anymore.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Advertisements don't help much when you don't have the CN channel to see them on. I knew of Steven Bombs and the Summer of Steven because of the internet. But the fact that it gets advertisements is good at least.
Yeah, I'm familiar with CN's treatments of its shows. I was a big Young Justice fan.

Apparently there's some weird conspiracy now that the new head of CN is trying to screw over AT, SU, and Regular Show because she's some moral guardian or something. I've had to edit the AT and RS trivia pages because they keep repeating that stuff without any proof.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Is it at Edit War levels?
If so have you asked the mods?
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblr

The AT fandom is good, but it's still pretty divisive. You've got the people who love the seriousness that came after Season 2, the people who preferred the early goofy stuff before the Lich, the people who loved the romantic stuff with FP, the people who hated the romantic stuff with FP, the people who dropped the show after Rebecca Sugar left, the people who dropped the show after Season 5 and Season 6 suffered from massive fluctuations of quality, the people who ship Bubbline, the people who think Bubbline is non-canon and want no romance impacting the show, the people who are OK with the weird pacing, the people who hate the weird pacing, the people who think there should be more arcs like SU and Gravity Falls, the people who want it to be mostly episodic, etc.
