Yeah they've set Jasper up pretty well to get one. If anything it'd be pretty weird and frankly pretty wrong to just let her stay corrupted and without help at this point.
She didn't refuse his help out of malice or pride. She thinks she doesn't deserve it.

Oh really when?![]()

I never said she couldn't be reached. If they want to, and they likely do, it can happen. But if they don't go that route it's not like it's some grand betrayal of everything the show represents.

Well, obviously she's not going to stay corrupted, by the end of the series they're clearly going to have fixed that for all of them.

We don't even know what route they're going. I keep on saying wait and see, but so many people jump the gun that it starts debates like this. Patience is a virtue, ya know.
I mean, me and my friend both want Jasper redeemed, but I still wanna wait and see what happens first. There's other stuff I wanna see first (more Rose and Greg flashbacks, Lion, Peridot and Lapis at the barn, stuff from Homeworld, Centipeetle, the Ruby Squad, etc.).

The way they handled her getting corrupted kinda leads towards the redemption route.
But it could still go either way, I guess.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I disagree, I think at the moment redeeming Jasper would be an Ass Pull. She rejected Steven's help, after all. If it was not just because of hating Rose, but because she sees herself as a failure, that's not going to change any time soon.
Oissu!OK, even I think Yellow Diamond redemption would be slightly too far.
Clearly Blue Diamond redemption is the right path.
Let me repeat: WAIT. AND. SEE.

I think you typo'd that. Either way, again, wait and see how it goes. You're all so worried about if it happens, if it'll be an asspull, if this, if that, yada yada yada, just stop and enjoy the show.
Pearl's voice actress said she'd recorded one with her, I think.

Oissu!"Who knows what could happen?"
Personally, if flying dog gets to make a proper character introduction, I'd be all against it.
They should another Peridot gem soon.
Everyone has to show a moment of weakness.
Stephen has yet to fully hate a Gem.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I at least pity (if not sympathize with) anyone who hates themselves, even if they're overall shitty people, mostly because it's a horrible way to exist. Jasper isn't necessarily my favorite character or anything, nor was I necessarily expecting or hoping for her to be "redeemed", but I do like the direction they've gone with the character.

I don't need her to stay a villain. Like, going the other way can obviously be done well. It's just that I disagree with the notion that because she has these problems it's somehow wrong if they don't solve them, and that it would set a valuable precedent.
I get leaning one way or the other, though. Just not forcefully.

If only it couldn't possibly be contrived, Corruption Jaspee should be sent to HW and they could cure and/or use that...to take care of the CG menace.

The recent episode should kind of prove that's not a theme. The whole thing was about Steven's turmoil, because he couldn't do that.
