So I'm guessing the mindscape scenes were the TRIGGER animated ones right?

Honestly, my issue is less with Jasper and more the thought that "Everyone should/will live happily ever after and no one is really a bad person", because this show is better than that and ending like that invalidates a lot of other things in it. This show proves that you can be very optimistic without being ignorant of reality.

And I'm saying that because I don't want to come off as one of those people who acts like if something isn't cynical it's childish and terrible. That's not my point at all.

Every future antagonist starts out not wanting to change regardless...I don't see how that's suppose to be something to gauge for.

[up][up][up] Pretty much, it felt very TRIGGER-ish.

I like the blues and oranges they used.

Should also point out that many of the people working on Trigger are ex-Gainax as well.

Wow, that's impressive.

I always wanted to get back into watching anime, but I've always been intimidated by the...stigma against it. But this show may as well be a western anime, so I've been reconsidering it.

Are there any recommended "starter" shows?

Madoka is a good show but it's sorta up there with Utena and Evangelion. One of the greats but not something to start with.

It's heavy.

Don't watch Madoka. It requires a knowledge of magical girl tropes, and even then not everyone enjoys it.

I'd say it depends on what you like. A show about how complex and awful war can be? Older Gundam shows.

A show that's goofy and relaxed? Tamako Market

A show that's just absurd? Nichijou

A show like SU? I kind of want to say Turn A Gundam, since that comes to mind fastest.

Ok, so I just looked at the poster and...maybe I should try something else first.

I've heard good things about Cowboy Bebop. I'll look into that, especially since I like Sci-Fi.

Also, if anyone has a link to that recommendations page, I'd appreciate it.

First, in order to jasper getting a redemption they have to figure out what happen with pink diamond after all Jasper is no going to fall in Steven team, not matter what.

Now this episode was intersing, for what I can understand Ruby and Saphire hinge on what is now vs what will be, Saphire is overload with awfull things that happen all the times while Ruby get lose in the little things.

Also was one coment said, three times he try to fix thing and he coudnt even when he did things "right": bismuth was poof after he talk of mercy, Jasper was corrupt after he offer help and eyeball when to space after he "heal" them.

And in the middle of all those things, lay his mother....
