I waited so long to reference that.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Lapis: Appeared in episode 25-26, returned in 51-52.
Ruby/Sapphire: Appeared in 52, returned in 64.
Peridot: Appeared in 36, returned in 44.

Either:
- 8-10 episodes
- 26 episodes
- Take Bismuth's episode number, multiply it by two
On one hand, ew.
On the other, HA!
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblr Rose just uses her organic lifeform control ability to induct any human who gets too close to Gem stuff into The Order of The Tragic Rose, sworn to keep her secrets.
I won't even justify that with a response.
It was nice to get some clearer details on the Steven Universe universe. It really does seem as though Americans hadn't journeyed to the na continent until the early 1800s. Also we now know where the Serious Steven temple, the strawberry field, and other assorted Gem spots are. As a world building nut, this pleases me. You can actually go back now and see exactly where they went on their early adventures.
Either way, Jasper is very likely out of the picture until they figure out how to cure Gem Corruption
GUNDAMU GUNDAMUBut there's always a framing device. Garnet telling Steven a story. Greg explaining how he met Rose. Steven and Connie reading Buddy's journal. Jasper was a warrior who none of the gems knew, and unless Peridot decides to spend an episode explaining, through flashback, the trip from Homeworld to Earth, we don't really have a way to see Jasper in the past.
Plus, it's not likely to be a different Jasper. They were all deformed, and Homeworld considers that reason enough to shatter a gem.
You're assuming no one else is going to come into play. Given the circumstance, that seems more likely than Jasper just miraculously getting better, and if/when they do learn how to uncorrupt gems, Jasper should by all rights be one of the last ones they do. I'd say they'd be better off just leaving her be, but Steven wouldn't do that.
I wouldn't mind seeing Jasper redeemed, and would still like it if it was done well. That said, after Earthlings part of me thinks that was a great ending for Jasper's character. I have no doubt she will be healed, but maybe it'd be better to happen later.
Or I'm completely wrong and Jasper is gonna be redeemed this season, and it'll be great.

Yes, that dastardly Peridot and her not so harmless sealed badass, Jasper. Pumping out corrupted Gems in a Make My Monster Grow fashion, and where poofing and shifting were quick animations made to get around them not bleeding.
