EDIT: Re-reading, I think the post was talking about Malachite, not Jasper.

If anything it was the opposite of moral character that allowed Peridot to be reasoned with over Jasper and Eyeball; her cowardice is the whole reason she was willing to help the Ceystal gems initially, and whatever else you can say about Jasper, she's no coward, and the same goes for Eyeball.

Holy moly! I leave this forum for two days of no new episodes, and there's more new pages than all of last week!
In regards to the Diamonds, I said before that the show would benefit for having a bare minimum of info on each of the Diamonds. Something like:
"Yellow was our strength, White was our intelligence, Blue was our voice, and Pink was our heart"
It's a good baseline to build information about them as the creators see fit. I'm still curious as to why exactly White Diamond hasn't even been mentioned yet. I don't know if it's building to some sort of big reveal, or if the creators simply forgot about her, and/or don't know what to do with her.
"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawThere's a lot going on in the show, so my guess is they just haven't gotten to a point where they want to talk about her. I doubt she'll end up being any more important than the other Diamonds.
Yellow Diamond is important because she's the one sending missions to Earth.
Blue Diamond has only been important in Garnet's flashbackstory episode. She's probably Lapis' Diamond but didn't/couldn't stop Yellow Diamond/Whoever from sending her back to Earth as an informant.
Pink Diamond has only JUST come up to verify the implications that something happened to her during the rebellion and that something was Rose. There are Homeworld Gems alive to this day that are salty about that.
White Diamond hasn't been relevant yet. If the murals mean anything, she's the oldest/most powerful of the Diamonds. A backwater failed colony probably falls heavily under Somebody Else's Problem for her.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersYou could just remove the spoiler-tastic text through editing.

Oh God! Natural light!

Probably, sorry. It just seemed odd that this is the single instance of a being in this whole show basically evil by nature rather than choice, and I wanted to get it out of my head.
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.
