Again, I wasn't referring just to them. But what I meant was, none of the Gems show a preference fore "female" or "male". Like, they obviously have attractions, but I've never gotten the impression that one of the reasons Ruby and Sapphire are attracted to one another is because they're both "female" nor did I get the impression Rose was attracted to Greg because he was a guy.
Which is why I said I don't think things like that matter to them. Actually, we know it doesn't, because they don't even see themselves as female.

That being said, imagine that as a final twist, the Man Behind the Man and True Final Boss is actually a male gem.
At which point he needs to go past Yellow Diamond and become a full Dio Brando expy.
So many fascinating yet horrible Unfortunate Implicatons.

Only male Gem is Steven. Which is probably why the idea of a Steven and Greg fusion seems unlikely to me. The product would undoubtedly identify and biologically be male, and I don't think they want to do that with anyone else.
They seem to understand it but they don't ascribe to it themselves.

History says otherwise, mang.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Lion can store objects, which is apparently a power that Pearls have. Was part of the reason Pearl was upset about not knowing about his connection to Rose in Rose's Scabbard I think. Although Garnet did it with a key in Serious Steven too, so it might be something any gem can do like bubbling.

Pink was associated with boundless compassion in HW propaganda. Unfortunately like most people her ability to empathize did have limits, and the Rebellion's mass desire for Gems to be able to be anything other than what they were made to be was outside of them due to her refusal to see this as anything other than a threat and insult to the empire.
It seems appropriate to the story at least.
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrAll Gems (except Steven) are referred to with female pronouns.
She said something along the lines of "There are no male Gems. Although, there aren't really any female Gems either. They just think of themselves as Gems!" Paraphrased a bit, but that's basically what she's said on the matter.

Rebecca Sugar: The real question is, were/ are there any female crystal gems! And the answer is NO. Gems are Gems!

I don't think asexual would be correct, since they can make sexual characteristics if they wanted to and potentially do so to use. I wouldn't be surprised if Amethyst's done it at least once.
That was rather sweet how the bubble appeared at the barn next to Lapis. They really are getting along now.
I'm happy with how Water Gem's doing. She's not happy all the time sure, but like the last time with meepmorps, she can have a good day once in a while.
She's got to be feeling better knowing Jasper's in a bubble. Or at least, assuming she knows.
