I doubt we'll ever get a human antagonist that's more than just a simple Jerkass like Kevin or Marty.

I think everything.
Probably...that is to say, it can go either way. Depending on the Gem's position.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. The government or the military getting involved would come out of left field in and of itself. No one except Ronaldo has shown ANY interest in the Gem based shapeshifting aliens that live openly in a small beach town. As hard as that is to believe them suddenly caring would just raise further questions.
Yes I know all the citizens just accept it as normal, but there's no scientist or historians who have any interest about what they can learn from the Gems.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing. The Gems are an impossible species.
The only thing to take-away from is their tech...most of which still on Earth is probably busted or on uncharted areas...uninhabited.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It sucks that Zuke felt the need to delete her Twitter. It's making me want to join social media just to follow people I like and give them encouraging messages.
I think this is the problem with Twitter (and social media in general): It gives people the capacity to immediately communicate with whomever they want without the inherent need to filter/censor/think about what they say that in-person conversation has. There's something about the disconnect of talking with someone over the internet that some people don't fully understand. They don't think of the repercussions of what they say. They don't realize that that's still a person they're communicating with. It's not even that they think they don't have to be respectful. The idea of being respectful doesn't cross their mind.

You mean like Jaspee...who was only defeated because corruption?

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Like, the Gems were there before the town. The town grew around them, it's not that odd that people don't find them weird enough to look into. It's not that hard to just imagine they got all the government stuff out of the way awhile ago.
Jasper was defeated because she lost. The corruption just made things end on a sadder note.

She lost the multiple battles, but corruption ended the war.
She probs shoulda had a chance to use that army, but no.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I want to see a villain who's able to manipulate the Gems, or at least get under their skin, and trick them into doing something she wants. Or an antagonist who is able to find out their weaknesses and exploit them. Like there would be a scene where they're barely holding their own in a fight against a fusion (or trying to run/hide from it), and they say something that causes said fusion to split.
Basically, a villain that takes an approach to getting her way other than just trying to kill them.

"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawConsidering how the CG usually tend to brute force anything from HW away, a mind games villain isn't likely to work without a hostage situation.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Side Question: With all that's happened, should there be a Steven Universe entry in the Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things page?
"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawI think it's more the case of Twitter needing more features to block users without them knowing. Like someone else suggested, an on/off feature for only receiving tweets by people you're already following. The problem is that you can't both open yourself to the public and block out harassment and annoyance without some of it getting through.
"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawThas da joke.
That's a joke.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I loved that episode, and I wouldn't get rid of it for the world. Between the character dynamics with Sardonyx and Smokey, to the hilarious fourth-wall jokes, to Garnet and Pearl's gut-busting reactions to Smokey, to the revelation that fusions each have their own rooms (which, honestly, should've been obvious, considering Garnet has her own room), to just introducing Smokey to the other Crystal Gems as something worthy of an entire episode, this episode was downright fantastic, and I loved every second.
I prefer the previous one. Every joke landed perfectly. It just hit the spot. Really left an impact.
This one was... I dunno, something about the Music Hole really rubbed me the wrong way.
Also, where do all the bubbled gems in Garnet's Caldera go when Garnet falls apart?
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Garnet's caldera probably isn't metaphysical disappears if she's not there since it has physical connections to other parts of the temple
Forever liveblogging the Avengers

Also there is always the looming threat of Homeworld and the Diamonds (especially now that Eyeball now knows the truth about Steven being Rose and will likely report this if/when she gets rescued from space)
Not to mention the other currently unresolved Myth Arc stuff (Lion's past and real identity, more stuff about the Gem War, etc)
