When we found out that the Rubies were looking for Jasper, I thought it was because Yee Dee had a specific purpose for her. It seemed odd that the Rubies were only looking for Jasper, and not the Peridot that insulted her to her face.

I wonder if Yellow assumes that Peridot is dead because of the communicator explosion.

[up][up]It wasn't muted enough, not enough blending.

[up]That would be the obvious answer, she expected immediate destruction.

Is there a trope for when episodes happen one right after another like the last few have?
Depending on if the plots are connected, it's either Multi-Part Episode or Immediate Sequel.

I'd say "Beta/Earthling" and "Back to the Moon/Bubbled" are two multi-part episodes that are immediate sequels.

The Rubies fangirling over Jasper was too hilarious. Especially when they clapped solemnly when Jasper!Amethyst said she would stay on Earth and keep the Crystal Gems prisoner. "So brave...."

When we're done, there won't be anything left.

Amethyst's form changing had pretty much no affect on me. She basically just changed clothes. I didn't really even have an opinion on it.

Yellow Diamond doesn't care. Peridot is that insignificant to her.

I'm going to put out a theory. Shattering someone seems a bit out of character for Rose. Maybe one of the other Diamonds, probably Yellow, was sick and tired of Pink for some reason, and had her assassinated by someone who looks like our Rose. This revelation will be made public to the other diamonds at the end of the series and will mark an end to the fighting.

That room everyone just walked past in "It Could Have Been Great." I thought for sure we'd find out what's it's for here. I am disappointed we didn't.

I think that would be a little bit of a cop-out, personally.

I think Rose having actually done it would be much bolder and add a lot more to her character.

[up][up][up]That sounds unlikely. Like, it would have to be another Rose Quartz, and they probably have ways of identify specific ones.

And Garnet and Pearl reacted like they knew about it and just didn't want Steven to hear. Or to think about it themselves.

So the death of Pink Diamond. That would have been after Bismuth got bubbled, right? I get the feeling it was towards the end of the war.

And the way the Rubies acted around Jasper tends to suggest that they don't care which kindergarten you come out of, so much has HOW WELL you come out. Peridot was dismissive of Jasper not just because she came from Beta Kindergarten, but because Beta Kindergarten was a dump and as a result almost all the Gems made there were junk so Peri assumed that Jasper sucked.

It was supposed to be Pink Diamond's colony but it seemed like Blue Diamond was in charge in the Answer.

So it possibly happened before the Answer
