I'm patient...there's just a faster way.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I'm reminded of how Ian Jones-Quartey apparently received hate messages of his own for basically telling people to simmer down. In response the people he was criticizing countered him by claiming that ending racism and fatphobia is more important than the personal happiness of the people receiving hate and death threats, and if you don't see eye-to-eye with them you don't really care about these things. And before that there was another online brawl regarding his previous tweet which spawned this, mentioned here
.
Edit: Does this make more sense?

That's a real good way to have the opposite of your desired outcome...

People replied that ending racism and fatphobia is more important than telling people to stop sending death threats.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Fantastic episode. Catching up with the thread was a pain though. I have some thoughts: Bismuth can talk in Lion's mane despite Gems needing air to talk, meaning Lion's mane isn't a vacuum, just a gas that moves sound waves the same as air does that also isn't breathable.
Also, to throw my two cents in on the 'big buff women are shown to be bad' controversy (sorry): Rose is huge, strong, and muscular, Garnet is consistently portrayed as the tough, big, and powerful one in the team, and Amethyst is a mini-Quartz with similar proportions who frequently transforms into this huge, hulking, hairy, buff form with more muscles than either Jasper or Bismuth.
Nothing that she wrote sounded "dismissing" or "invalidating" of anything. She was just upset at the general in-fighting between LGBTQ viewers, and even kept over what vague.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Um, isnt she talking about Bismuth? Because if shes talking about Jasper than sure, shes right but if shes talking about Bismuth then my argument still stands. It sucks people cant have a discussion without getting death threats and hatemail I'm not saying shes wrong about that.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Ok, a lot of stuff over here so let start:
first: Daft, your mother is....wow, sorry for you, I hope you the best, also never buy an Ipad, really Apple suck ass.
Second: about "buff women are evil" I dont think is like that, granted t two "buff" chararter are more pronte to fight and show more being more forward to that while more feminie since to be reactive: Lapiz fight when she think someone harm her, Pearl is most caution of all gems, Rose while strong to seen someone who charge first into battle and Peridot haven seen a fight since she was poof waaaay back in second season, so you could said is somewhat of steriotype....
But, even more I will rant a little bit and said a lot of fans lately have this tendecy of blame creatior for unfortune implications ignoring is accident or blind spot of the writing, I feel there is tendecy of "if I can see problematic aspect them YOU should do and but you didnt, dosent it?", granted this usually come from....
The social justice FANDOM, a concept I have shared with Alley a couple of time, if you think Malachite was unhealthy oh boy, that wasnt anything, they mix their desire of inclusiveness into their especific fandom issues which let to whole variaty of cringe worthy fan dumb issue, which consider this show we are taking about it is downright sad....or for some, I dont have any pacient for it anymore.
But nevermind, returint to the show, let go to point number four: the shartter point, as weapon it seen efective if you want to end thing quickly but with vet gem? yeah, that is not going to work, I mean I could see Garnet using two of those stuff diriving anyone as shartering machine but Pearl and the rest.....
Now, that drive to point number five: Bismuth, Rose and their morality/Point of view.
For what I can get, Rose seen to be a carpien diem kind of person, even having Greg and Pearl agreeing with her "Rose do what she wants" she is a free spirit and clearly hate the rigid conformity of Homeworld and their impose destiny, and in that aspect Bismuth reflect the most, as it show she clearly love doing stuff for the hell of it.
BUT, as everything it have a flaw and is clear that while Rose never ask question about other(as it show to garnet) she never give any explanation for her action, Rose does what she does and that is end of it, while she have good reason for her actions at the same she dosent have the need to explain to other, she just....do things and that it, end of story, THAT is why Bismuth is so mad at her.
In sort, Rose is chaotic good and verged on chaotic neutral at times.
PD: sorry for making my post so large but you guys talk about a lot of stuf and I want to cover all the bases, also sorry if you have problem with my english, you know not being my first lenguage and all.

It may have been heavy, but it wasn't a bomb...those two things should always be together.
Zuke was referring to ship bashing.
tbh, the only ships I've really seen bashed are Jasper x Lapis and Greg x Pearl.

@Zuke having to defend her co-workers: That's a tough bridge to navigate without getting yourself hurt. I hope some people come to their senses and realize the story hasn't been fully told. If they still have a legitimate beef to air, do it after we're done with the character arc.
As for the next episode, I'm in the patient group. It's has a release date in America, and I can wait until then. I only watched "Steven Floats" early because it didn't have a release scheduled at the time.
