Wait, that's a serious thing?
There's been no real lasting sense of docility.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I'm looking at Zuke's Twitter, and she didn't specifically say it was about Jasper (though I certainly don't doubt it given recent events).
Also she's on Team Mystic, so now she's automatically my rival.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I've heard that that's the double-edged sword of progressive fictitious works: people in the fandom start attacking each other for calling out its flaws, or for not being progressive/inclusive enough.

"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawI'm kinda desensitized to underage fanfics after having almost every other fandom I'm in do the same crap.
No joke, there was this one weirdo who spammed the Gravity Falls subreddit with weird shit like that. Thankfully he's been banned.

Isn't that the opposite of whatever is happening?

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. As was briefly mentioned before, "Beta" is premiering tomorrow in Canada instead of Monday (the rest of the episodes premier on the same date for both countries). Who's gonna watch it then?
I know I am, assuming there's decent picture quality (it'd be embarrassing if there wasn't, considering the ones from France were in 720p). I'll be staying out of the spoiler thread, though, because there's still a bunch of other spoilers.
Randomness watches anything and everything...

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well, since we're not getting any on Friday here in the U.S., I think I'll watch it.
Oh God! Natural light!Yeah, I worded that wrong. I meant in terms of things like that "Skinny Rose" controversy, where drawing someone thinner than they are in the show is offensive enough for people to send the artist hate mail.
As for Jasper, people's tolerance for irredeemable actions can tend to be low for shows like this. Or at the very least, they like to play up their reactions. I remember when people were saying Pearl was "beyond redemption" during the Week of Sardonyx.
"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawSomebody brought it up...nobody responded.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It goes both ways. I'm serious when I say I've seen a large amount of the opposite reaction, praising Jasper and making her out to be a good character that's not given a chance. Which, isn't any better mind.
I don't let things like that and the Rose art fiasco color my perceptions of fans too much. There's bad apples everywhere, but that doesn't mean you should let them spoil the basket.
As for the underage thing, if people just write/draw the things, I say it's harmless. Kids have to be looking for a lot of that to find it. And to an extent, saying Think of the Children! is a bit superfluous when dealing with the internet and what you do and don't see.
All in all, nothing worse than what I've seen, and there's really far, far more good I've seen out of the fandom than bad.
