I just wanted to make a joke about Pearl being attracted to large, powerful gems...
My various fanfics.Yeah...when the episode did its "big reveal" my reaction was kind of "Oh, is that all? That's not so bad." She wasn't nearly as immoral as I expected her to be.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I really hope Bismuth comes back and is "redeemed" (I put quotation marks because it's not like she's not on the C Gs' side, she just had some extreme ideas). I mean, come on, if Steven could redeem Peridot, he can definitely convince Bismuth. I hope she comes back.
When we're done, there won't be anything left.Oh man...I can't wait for more rebels. We didn't need more of this.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I don't think they should have bubbled her again at all. They should have waited for her to regenerate, then had a calm discussion about it all together. I think if all the Crystal Gems discussed the problem together Bismuth could have been calmed down, and I don't even like idealistic endings. Part of why Bismuth went berserk was because history, which to her felt like a day ago, was repeating itself in a horrifying way.
Oissu!And Jasper will...get there.
It does seem like it should be possible to reason with her...though she was throwing a fit and trying to murder Steven at the time. And presumably trying to murder Rose way back when.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Yeah, I hope they can talk to Bismuth later, calmly, when Bismuth doesn't feel like she's basically reliving the argument she had with Rose. I think she can definitely be reasoned with, it's just that no one really tried (because everyone thought she was dead, gee thanks, Rose.
)
She didn't try to shatter Rosey...just wanted to beat her views into her.

I'm saying that as it is now, it has Unfortunate Implications. With the only two hard butch characters we've seen, both are violent extremists. As things are now, it's a bad implication.
