That was a really useful weapon.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I think it's more that she didn't know how to share what she felt was an enormous personal failure and the loss of an ally with her friends, and ultimately just couldn't do it. She indicated before that underneath her wise exterior she hated herself for a lot of her choices.

So am I the only one wondering exactly how much it took for Rose to bubble Bismuth? Did she do it shortly after Bismuth explained the weapon, or did they end up coming to blows like she did with Steven? The fact that Bismuth took a fighting stance when she was unbubbled implies that she knew what Rose was going to do.
Wow...that was pretty heavy.
Best so far this week, I think. Probably the best of the whole Summer of Steven.
Oh God! Natural light!Bismuth seems almost like the Qilby of this show. A radical, who went too far, and was sealed in a pocket dimension. Pretty much the exact same set up all around actually.
I think the reason Rose didn't tell them was just out of weakness mostly. Steven doesn't know, what Bismuth meant to them. But Rose, probably didn't want them to see her in that light.

Ahhh I don't know what to think.
So Rose refused to shatter Homeworld gems, but almost her entire army was either shattered or corrupted because of that. So I can't see Rose as the moral victor here. Does her inability to keep gems on her side from getting shattered because of her moral view make her better or worth than Bismuth? And without a doubt the Diamonds deserve to get shattered.

She made it sound like they fought, but later dialogue indicates that she doesn't actually know exactly what happened before she got poofed.

Man, Rose is an iceberg of secrets, ain't she?
