I'm not sure how much effort was wasted on that fight, they both got hurt pretty bad...and they both seem to be the worst and Amethyst should've threw some Ketchup down the drain.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Leave it to Steven and Amethyst to have a contest on who's the worst Gem.
I always love getting to see how proficient Steven's gotten with his powers. I know Pearl said she was going to train him along with Connie at the end of "Sworn to the Sword", but then the show never revisited that so I wasn't sure if it was actually happening.
I noticed the shatter pink diamond above the arena. I'm starting to think that if Rose wasn't Pink Diamond, then she probably killed her. It would explain why Yellow Diamond takes the Earth's existence so seriously.
Anyone else find some irony in Amethyst feeling insecure that she's not what she's supposed to be, when that description applies to any of the Crystal Gems?
Hearing Steven say the word "Suck" was an odd feeling. It's like hearing Mr. Rogers cuss.
Can't juke the Zuke, bae-beh!!!
I hope Amethyst keeps the ponytail. It makes the white tank-top seem reasonable.

Also, watching Steven become so competent as a fighter has been so great
My various fanfics.Jasper has no mission because she decided that her original mission, escort Peridot to check on the Cluster, was no longer relevant. She was the leader of the mission, but that doesn't her the authority to completely change mission goals. She didn't fail because of the unexpected strength of fusion, but because she decided to capture Rose Quartz and the CG instead of defending Peridot as necessary. If she was unsure on what to do, she should have used to ship to contact her superiors.
Pearl didn't tell Steven and Connie to follow her orders just because they're in training, but also to teach them following orders is important.

Hm. Upon rewatching Crack The Whip, I'm wondering what exactly Jasper thinks she wants. Is it just killing Rose? Is it killing Rose so she can become Malachite again? Is it something beyond that? I just want more insight into what she's doing, and if she's doing it for any reason other than "because Quartzes fight".
Also, what is she gonna do when she finds out Rose is already dead?

My guess is that she blames "Rose" for turning Lapis away for her and wants to defeat her and her "army" as revenge.
Other than that, Blood Knight gonna Blood Knight.
