All I have to say is that Jasper's going to be redeemed sooner or later. But I wish the show got across just how power-crazy Jasper's become. Maybe Steven could bring up how she seems to have no desire to go back to Homeworld in favor of killing "Rose". She doesn't seem to be acting any different than in "Jailbreak", personality-wise. She had a moment of weakness in "Alone At Sea", but that's it.
I had mentioned before how I thought she was going to get more and more desperate as it went on, but it seems like she's going to stay the same until defeat. She didn't really react much to losing this episode. She just got angry at Stevonnie for their existence. I was hoping for her to panic or something. At least Peridot started to have a freakout about not being able to get to Homeworld before they poofed her. Maybe Jasper will be different in future episodes, but now she seems to just be a villain obsessed with power. If the obsession with power started to consume her, then her character might get some more depth before her inevitable Heel–Face Turn.
Oh, cool, page topper.

"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawI had forgotten about that pair of alien underwear Peridot tries on in "Log Date 7 15 2". It ties in with her interest in the dolls in "Too Short to Ride". Am I the only one hoping she becomes a collector of merchandise of The Greys? It'd be a fun little hobby for her, in my opinion.
Best believe Randomness is ready this time for the new episode...direct discussions will not be missed.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It's safe to say that Peridot and Jasper have different mental states for dealing with their missions going off the rails. Jasper has the advantage of experience and time to experiment with how to gather her Corrupted Gem army. Peridot just kind of scavenged the land for whatever aged gem-tech was out there to send a distress signal.
Previously known as "71TheRoman". Wishes his password wouldn't forget who he is...Peridot is also much younger than Jasper. Peridot was likely never on field assignments before this while Jasper lived through The Gem War.
My various fanfics.P-dot would've still been a technician...so she would not have been in war.
She was off her original mission the moment she decided that "Rose" takes priority over everything else.

Yeah, that's true. It makes sense that a seasoned veteran has a different reaction to being stranded and losing fights than a newbie technician.
Still, I wonder what kind of arc Jasper will have before getting defeated.
Maybe there'll be an episode where she finds Steven's weakness—How much he cares for humans—and keeps threatening the lives of the people in Beach City so that they have to focus on saving them instead of fighting her while she, I don't know, tries to take the Gems in the temple.

Hrm. Would it be third episode of each week? Or third day? Because the third episode of next week is Back 2 The Moon, while the third day is Bubbled.
