Well, yeah, but the focus on her regeneration, and just how the scene looked... I dunno. It could just be her cycling through her "Reformed" forms, but I'm still definitely pretty concerned. Considering her mental state at the time. And she may have regenerated too quickly... maybe I'm overthinking this.
When we're done, there won't be anything left.To me it seems like she was trying to make herself bigger, but failed. Considering what Jasper had just said, plus Amethyst's light form having a big arm for a second, it looks like she was about to repeat what she did the last time she got poofed and fuck herself up by picking a form she can't maintain.
I wouldn't say this episode makes it more likely Jasper will be redeemed. If anything it showed more evidence that Jasper would reject it outright. She's not going to easily give up on getting her revenge.
Peridot had no similar motivations, and she was largely ineffectual, while Jasper is an actual threat.
Plus she tried to shatter Amethyst, Steven's not going to easily forgive that. The best she could hope for is to be Reformed, but Rejected.

It looked like she was about to do what she did in "Reformed", but thought better of it halfway through.
Anyway, I'm glad my "Jasper is building a gem army" prediction ended up being right. I wonder if she'll find more gem monsters off-screen.
If she finds out that the Crystal Gems are keeping a billion corrupted gems in the Temple, they're going to be screwed.
Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...That's how strong Amethyst is.

Jasper and the Diamonds are different from Lapis and Peridot in both they mean to cause harm and understand exactly what that means.
Lapis' actions were drastic but she never meant to hurt anyone on Earth when she took the ocean, and Peridot changed when she got to know life on Earth. Her apathy came from ignorance, not true malice.
By all indications, Jasper and Yellow Diamond know what humans are, and what life on Earth as a whole is, and they hate it.

My point is that Jasper isn't the only person who has attempted to shatter a crystal gem, and if that's not crossing the line for Peridot, it shouldn't be counted as crossing the line for Jasper.
Edit: If you think Malachite was crossing the line towards being iredeemable, fine. If you think using corrupted gems as weapons is crossing that line, fine. But you can't say that having racist views or attempting to shatter people are crossing that line, because Peridot has done the exact same things. I just dislike people pulling double standards.

I'm fairly certain shouting "DIE DIE DIE DIE" while firing lasers counts as malicious intent.
Unrelated: This actually got me to audibly laugh.
Nice fight, fused mates...ya did it for reals.

Check out my art if you notice.@LSBK: About three hours and ten pages after "Alone at Sea" aired, we came to an agreement to drop the topic of Jasper having a Heel–Face Turn because we kept talking in circles and filling up pages with discussions many weren't interested in reading. I'll give you a break because you weren't posting then, but most of the other people doing it again don't have the same excuse.
