GUNDAMU GUNDAMUAw, poor Amey. On the plus side, this means AMETHYST ARC TIME! I've been looking forward to Amethyst centered episodes forever!
Yeah, what the heck does she need an army for? I was thinking she was gonna fuse with them, but she's just using them as her army to fight the Crystal Gems? Why?

When we're done, there won't be anything left.![]()
To become The Beast Master apparently.
She'll probably try to rob the gem bank at some point.

I'm starting to have the same feelings about Jasper that I had towards Peridot when she was still the big villain.
Which probably means something will happen to make her turn good and then I'll like her even more.

Probably just an army to defeat "Rose". Jasper seems to have a one track mind.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?![]()

She probably just wanted to build her own forces to challenge the Gems considering she's kind of outmatched right now.

GUNDAMU GUNDAMUI loved this episode.
I feel a bit bad about never thinking about Stevonnie in a combat context, but they kicked ass. I assumed that Steven and Connie would become Bash Brothers like in "Sworn to a Sword", but I hadn't thought of them merging their physical and magical abilities. What's great is that it allows them to fight with a sword and shield, just like Rose did.
"Rose said...I was perfect...the way I was". It's like someone saying "My mom says I'm cool", but 10x more heartbreaking. And it looks like the apparent-future focus on Amethyst isn't a coincidence, since this episode plants the seed for a character arc with her. She's my favorite Gem, so I'm very happy with that.
Her regeneration makes her look like even more of a slob than her previous designs did. I wonder if she'll regenerate into something a bit more stylish after she works past her issues.
I love how the show's been using Jasper. Sometimes the show puts certain characters and plot lines on the side, so the fact that Jasper's reappearances are so close together after he reintroduction is great. The show finally has that recurring villain I've wanted for a long time, so I'm going to enjoy it while I can.

He kinda tells the future so it's somewhat indicative...
Probably abusing Garnet's future vision to not get paid.
