I'm certainly in favor of that. I'm personally for the "Steven heals an injured Jasper" idea. What about you?
Oh God! Natural light!Yeah I'm gonna do a wait and see. Don't feel particularly strongly about Jasper but seeing how they'll redeem her (if they do) opens up more interesting storytelling potential IMO than leaving her villainous. Be fun to have a Token Evil Teammate of sorts, to contrast with Peridot who's more of a Fish out of Water,

That's the only ideal I can accept of Jaspee redemption...as a person normally against the idea of it.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. But she doesn't want to do that.
Why would she want to do that?

With another gem she likes...and/or respects like YD.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I think if any of the Gems were to unbubble Jasper, it'd be Lapis - and less because she would actually want to help Jasper and more because she still obviously feels extremely guilty about Malachite and might want closure or some kind of personal redemption.
Peridot actually surprised me in how little she gave a fuck about Jasper (besides being curious) in Watermelon Island. On the other hand, if the Barn Mates (or her approach to being a good guy in general) said anything, it's that Peridot tends to jump whole heartedly into new friendships and situations once she's gotten past the hangups that prevented them in the first place.

The Peridot had no ill-will towards the Lapis Lazuli in the first place, so that's a different situation.
From the Peridot's perspective: She was just doing her assigned job.
From the perspective of the Lazuli: She was just someone else's prisoner and grouped together Peridot and "Jasper" for the blame.

I just knew some would make this joke sooner or later.

GUNDAMU GUNDAMUI think Homeworld could be looking for Jasper and Steven decides to help her. Sure, he dislikes her because of her violation of consent with Lapis, but Steven is a HUGE sucker for helping people when they need it. that could happen, right?

As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.I wish I knew how to make videos, I wanna do something with the scene of Lapis flinging jasper into the ocean. And no it has nothing to do with the Roundabout song.
I could see that happening, especially if homeworld doesn't hear from the Rubies for awhile. I'd really like the start of Jasper's redemption starting like that, it's plausible.

I've seen roughly five team rocket jokes tonight, so yeah. It's been done. As have the Jojo Cliffhanger meme, Smash Bros elimination, and Mmm Watcha Say.
@redemption: I don't think this one will be started by Steven. He views Jasper the same way he views Kevin. It'd have to be kicked off by Jasper trying to change, or another gem trying to redeem her, likely one of the homeworld gems.

I don't think Steven hates Jasper, he just recognizes the type of person she is. If she actually does go through a redemption he would probably be all for it.
I'd venture if Jasper get anything resembling a redemption arc, it'd be Garnet who's the one to lead her down the path. She'd realize that Jasper has started down this dependency on fusion to surpass her in strength, and completely lost track of what fusion actually represents. So she might have to beat her down for a bit before explaining what it means to her as a fusion, and maybe voluntarily separate so Ruby and Sapphire can comfort her the same way you'd support a family member during intervention.
Man, could you imagine a scene like that?
Previously known as "71TheRoman". Wishes his password wouldn't forget who he is...Lost track? She's just addicted to it, yo.

I'm not saying I want her to suddenly show up all nice and sweet. I want to see the start of her redemption. Her version of hiding in the bathroom.
