I'm so happy to be wrong. My heart...
So fan artists have a template to work from now, for a more accurate portrayal of non-corrupted Centi (cute nickname). This did just make me wonder where the term 'Centipettle' came from. Did the gems think of it or was there a previous precedent?
Was it because Amethyst's facial expressions resembled those from "An Indirect Kiss"? I can tell since I rewatched that set of shorts yesterday...in preparation.

Previously known as "71TheRoman". Wishes his password wouldn't forget who he is...It looks like a Centipede beetle...so that's what they called it, it's the only corrupted gem they gave a name to besides the Slinker.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I mean, the soul-crushing episodes almost always have happy endings.
Steven healing MC Bear Bear at the beginning seemed like a clear response to the confusion over whether Steven's healing powers work on nonliving things.
And yeah, Humanoid Centipeetle was weirdly adorable, especially when she crossed her arms grumpily due to Steven not understanding her writing.
Amethyst's face...Pearl's Lemongrab nose...just the whole style, whoever the head artist was. They're not...quite as good...as others...whereas the animation has come a very long way in most other episodes from season 2 onwards.
Centi was done very cute though.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.
x4 My guess is that she's Emerald
x7 I also recall that from a interview with one of the V As that YD has song coming up, so given the information we've gotten from this episode I'm hyped for a possibly weaponized Villain Song.

Well Stephen lost his powers so they couldn't really move forward with it yet.
CN also has to follow the spoiler code, it makes sense.

x4 So one of the Diamonds possibly betrayed the others and caused the rebellion? I guess that adds fuel to the "Rose/Lion is Pink Diamond" theory.

Didnt stop them from showing that certain clip. But I guess that's probably because its minor compared to what may be coming...

So that must mean that Pink Diamond defected (or was exiled, imprisoned, or crushed) at some point when the rebellion started gaining traction, and changed their logo to the triangle one between when they left Earth and the present.

Speaking of which, anyone notice the gem that had Sonic the Hedgehog's head?
