Ronaldo is finally funny by being in pain.

So yeah, that was fairly funny. I was watching Cat Fingers recently, and it struck me how long it's been since we've seen Steven order the bits.

I wonder how he roaped Pearl into serving as the waitress. She's not usually known for getting involved in shenanigans.

Well it was definitey good to see Peedee, I wish he got more attention.

Otherwise this episode was weird

I sort of figured Ronaldo's girlfriend was real because I remembered his post for "Love Letters".

I thought at first Peedee and Jenny had called in Ronaldo's girlfriend, going by their reaction. What was up with that?

Hey, anyone else remember near the end of season 1, when the episode credits listed voice actors for Jasper, Ruby, Sapphire, and Malachite weeks before we saw them?

That happened again. I vaguely remember last week's episodes having the episode-specific credits, but this episode's credits listed every character this season, including some we haven't seen yet.

If you want to avoid spoilers, don't look at the version of the credits with the Credits Pushback. If you want to discuss these names, do it in the spoiler thread.

"JANE MY OHIME-SAMA!"

Fantastic episode, after last week was kind of a mixed bag.

Yay for Ronaldo being enjoyable this time.

Yep, Kiki is super adorable. And so is Waitress Pearl.

And can't help but be reminded by the cooking part of that one scene with Undyne in Undertale.

Oh, wow, this episode was even stupider than I thought it would be! And by "stupider" I mean "greater". tongue

I really enjoy these kind of silly episodes. I don't actually like shows that are entirely like that, but some silliness every now and again is great. I also think it works particularly well here because the episodes are so short.

God, "ohime-sama", that's like... "Lord Great Princess"?

Uh, no, pretty sure that is not it. "Sama" is often translated as "lord", but it is just a politeness suffix. It implies great respect and is just a common thing to attach to "ohime" or any other noble title(or noble people name). The translation would be something akin to "your highness".
