So, the dance between Pearl and Greg in Mr. Greg seemed very familiar to me, and I figured out why.
You Love Me And I Love Both Of You
The Adolescence Of Utena
(the dance begins about halfway through)
Some bits of the music are the same, and the dance seems to be influenced as well, to an extent.
The subtext of the episode kind of paints Lars in a pathetic light. He's failing school, and apparently swears at his parents whenever they bring it up. All his "friends" actually hate him at worst or think he's a huge downer at best, and the only real friend he has he's trying to distance himself from because of past drama. Dude's screwed up all his relationships and is probably going to end up alone.
Hard to really sympathize with him too much though because he did it all to himself.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Peridot's twitter updated. Like Keep Beach City Weird, posts seem to correspond to new episodes, with today's posts being about who Peridot would switch bodies with.

They're apparently both still in high school, because colleges don't have report cards like that.

As far as Steven's powers, so far he has:
- Summoning sheilds and protective shells
- Healing Spit
- Communicate with other Gems through dreams
- Shapeshifting (so far he can only really manage stretching)
- Mild Super-Strength
- Super Jump and floating
- Summon plant minions (he can also Assume Direct Control of one of them)
- Can now Assume Direct Control of people.
Did I miss anything?

GUNDAMU GUNDAMUSpeaking of subtext, are we all just going to ignore the fact that when Steven woke up in Lars's body, Lars was buck naked with a dirty magazine on his lap?
I've got Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash, Spyro, and Paper Mario fanfics.![]()

You forgot his shield can vibrate Anti-Magic. He used it to dispel Lapis and Pearl's water and holo clones.
Okay, in hindsight maybe it's just anti- shadow clones, and not anti-magic in general then.

Considering the vast amout of stuff almost every CN cartoon (including this one) have gotten away with over this years that's probably a mild example of Getting Crap Past the Radar

GUNDAMU GUNDAMUIs it just me or does it look like Lars has a type judging by Sadie and the model on the magazine.
I just love the Continuity Nod of Sadie's Scar from "Island Adventure".

Also, yes.
She can only take over one person at a time, so in good news: the universe is safe, mang.
Though I bet she would've tooken the body of another Gem if she could while giving birth life to Stephen. In order to teach him the ways of his heritage.

"Joking Victim"...the reason she ever even liked him at all, but she's slightly more sensible about it now.
He's only nice to gain.
