Leremy...Larramy? I couldn't really her what his mother was saying, but he's completely unaware.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I just realized that one of my theories when I heard the title of this episode was true! Steven did become Lars!
Also, I thought that Steven was able to control the watermelon Stevens because of some magic reason, but no. Apparently Steven can just...possess people.

"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawAnother completely Gem-less episode.

Considering all of the major plot heavy episodes prior to these few, it was to be expected. Besides, its been a while since a lot of the Beach City residents have had any real focus.

GUNDAMU GUNDAMUI wonder if Lars' parents were expecting a girl or maybe they were once... HIPPIES.
Recall Mandark, if you will, whose real name was Susan, and his parents were obvious granola gobblers.

At this point, he's just taking all the crazy new Gem Powers he can do in stride.
@Austin: Lion tends to just come and go as he pleases. I do hope we find out where he goes exacly in the future...

Laramie doesn't seem like it'd be a female name...

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I mean, I thought it was worth it. Especially tittering to myself at all the incorrect theories and guesses. But I can also understand someone's reluctance to iron through so many thoughts. Depends on whether you're a thread Determinator or not.
Anyway, woah. That episode was NOT what I expected, but it's a kind of body swap I can dig. At least Matthew Moy got to go big for his return role.
Also, Lars' parents. They exist, and seem like good people.
Previously known as "71TheRoman". Wishes his password wouldn't forget who he is...Not all parents plan their names before birth...they'd always have to be gender neutral.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. That was an amusing episode. I love body swap episodes in general, and this was a really fun, if somewhat cringey, one. And I loved that they averted Voices Are Mental.
When we're done, there won't be anything left.Y'know, on re-watching "Too Short to Ride" I was thinking...
Isn't this kind of a light episode to drop such a major plot point of "Homeworld's running low on resources"? I thought something like that would be major reveal, like the Rubies would come back and accidentally spill the beans.
"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawNo no, we have to save the Ruby Squad's return for the most dramatically inconvenient time. That's how it usually works.
Or they could show up in the middle of the night when Steven's getting a midnight snack. Who knows with Crewniverse.
Edit:
When did that theory start cropping up? It could just be Animation Lead Time at work.

Previously known as "71TheRoman". Wishes his password wouldn't forget who he is...

I wonder if he's actually occupying his mind or they've switched bodies.
What if the real Lars is actually witnessing all this playing out, and he can do nothing about it?
