Steven's Schooling: Depending how highly you regard the Steven Universe comics, academically speaking, Steven is ahead of the vast majority of normal students at his grade level and only slightly behind Connie.
Academically, Steven is in fine hands with Pearl as his teacher, probably better than most colleges. The only reasons he would be better off going to college is if wants to build up a social network, as another avenue for socializing with other humans, or wants to pursue particular social sciences that the Gems wouldn't be equipped to teach (foreign cultures, politics, economics, etc.)
I actually really like Amethyst's songs. She reminds me of the youngest sister in a family, who's now the only teenager, and feels pressure to "grow up" like the others have, as well as a sense of distance from them because of that. And the songs she's had really get that across for me. Her small song after Sardonyx's first appearance was nice.
Speaking of which, has Garnet had any solo songs other than "Stronger Than You"? I know about Ruby and Sapphire's song in The Answer (which I don't know the name of), but I can't recall Estelle herself singing since Season 1.
"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawThat was the second best burger commercial I've ever seen. This was the best.
Yeah the Too Cool For School comic shows that Steven is decently educated somehow.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersJust got over that he was homeschooled...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I don't think Garnet's had a solo song since "Stronger Than You". I guess they didn't want to make it seem like they were riding on the success of that song too much?
Out of the trio, Garnet probably has the least to sing about, since she's the most reserved and already has a lot of her issues sorted out, as opposed to Amethyst and especially Pearl. But it would be nice to hear her sing again.
Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...She's the leader because future vision, she's the strongest, fastest...and has a level head. Is apparent enough, says the random guy.

Probably had a knife, too.
Fuckin' rocks.
Your momma's so dumb she thinks oral sex means talking dirty.Judging by the giant foot thing, she never officially became leader. It was just a de facto thing because Pearl and Amethyst needed someone to look up to. Also, future vision.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersNow that I think about it, it seems like Garnet doesn't have much depth to her character. Or at least the show hasn't explored her character much. The only real character flaw I can think of is that maybe she bases too much of her character on the fact that she's a fusion. Aside from Future Vision, the only times Garnet's stoic exterior broke down completely was when they discovered those Gem shard forced fusions and when Pearl tricked her into fusing with her.
Maybe there could be a future episode exploring why fusion is her only weakness. Or maybe have Ruby and Sapphire get separated somehow (like maybe for another multiple-episode arc), and they realize that they've spent so much time together, that (ironically) they've both lost all sense of individuality. And maybe they could even explore the question of "If they're happy together, does it matter?"

Also when Stephen was dying and when the Home-world gems showed up...

That's more of a area thing...?
Arcadia mania is more about Garnet enjoying things to much, while she is blunt, stoic and quiet there is liking of everything inside her.
Also I disagree with Garnet not having deph just like a troper point out, most of her episode are focus in fusion since is one matter she related the most but there have been other episode where she is bother by Amathys and Pearl fighting, saying "so you two can only get along when you think in going to kill you?" or in Steven test Garnet admit they dont really know well Steven and are trying their best.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"

At least it was Glass...or plastic, so weak, they wouldn't survive even a month of Garnet freakin' out.
