Ooh, that would be interesting. A character that just switched sides dies fighting for the good guys, as opposed to someone fighting for millenia. It would really put into perspective the losses a fight for Earth would have, and how well Steven is at convincing someone to die for Earth.

"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawThat's a trope
Redemption equals death I think
It's not that interesting
Forever liveblogging the AvengersEhh. I think Redemption Equals Death is usually more immediate. Like if Yellow Diamond had managed to destroy Peridot as soon as Peridot had solidified her Heel–Face Turn by fully sticking up for the Earth and keeping the lid on the Crystal Gems.
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.![]()

It's not, and it usually happens to bring back the status quo...completely entirely.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It feels like there's some sound mixing with some words being Steven and some of it being Rose, but. Like, I want some actual confirmation on it.
I didn't really hear it myself either.
Is it Zack, Zack, Zach, or Zach?
There's a unique distinction.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.(¯ω¯): I knew it. It was so obvious.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Notably Pearl ties tuxedo's to confidence most likely. She's at her most confident when she's Sardonyx after all.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Well, I just saw the latest episode and, from what I can tell; it seems like the issues between Greg and Pearl were never about the latter not liking the former or vice versa, rather they stemmed from Pearl knowing that she was sad about Rose falling in love with Greg, but was not able to just move passed it, even though she really did want to when all was said and done, mostly because she cared enough about Rose to respect her choices and decisions (and, possibly because that, since she was still only a Pearl, she felt that she was in no position to question Rose on that score or any other).
On Greg's side of things; he feels bad because he feels that he indirectly hurt Pearl in a huge way, just by falling in love with Rose.
That's how I saw it anyway.
In my opinion, I think 'Isn't It Over' is the best song in the show. I may like some of the others more ('Stronger Than You' is so triumphant it's almost impossible not to like it, 'Do It For Her' is a wonderful back-and-forth, 'Giant Woman' and 'Strong in the Real Way have melodies I like) but this one I think has the best singing. Deedee Magno-Hall I cannot commend enough.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged Men
I agree. Deedee seems to have the best singing voice in the show. Estelle's pretty good, but Deedee seems to have more range, at least with the songs she's sung.
Plus, all three of Pearl's songs have had some real emotional weight to them. Not to say that the other characters' songs weren't, but hers have been more consistent. Steven's had some good ones (his song in Full Disclosure, for one), but his voice didn't really carry it as much.
Like I said before, with "It's Over", now all of my top 3 songs from the show are from Pearl. If I had to pick a favorite character, I'd have to pick her, on account of her characteristics, flaws, and development coming across the most out of the entire cast.

Freedom. Fusion. Her attention.
Out in daylight, my potential.
Bold. Precise. Experimental.
What am I now in this world without her?
Petty and dull, with the nerve to doubt her.
What does it matter? It's already done!
Now I've got to be there for her son.

I have a message from another time...Eh, this wasn't really a crying episode for me ("Rose's Scabbard", on the other hand...)
Still really good, though.
Oh God! Natural light!

Good point. It's incredibly subjective. Maybe it's because I don't have a lot of experience in relationships that a story of unrequited love doesn't really tug at my heartstrings as much as it did with other people.
Amethyst's songs, on the other hand...
