I assume that Yellow-tail didn't happen until later in SC's life...

He and Vidalia were significantly younger when they got together, if the photo on their fridge
is anything to go by.

I'm pretty sure it was just stress.

I thought feeling pity = good thing.
might want to move the italics
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblr"Mr. Greg" promo card.
It's also Joe Johnston's last episode as a storyboard artist, before stepping up to fill Ian JQ's position as supervising director.
I'm pretty sure Joe replacing Ian was known shortly after the latter announced he was leaving. Dunno how the storyboard teams will work yet.

Was Johnston taking Jones-Quartey's position known before, or is this the first public statement of such?
I guess this means they also already hired Johnston's replacement as storyboard artist. Wondering if they'll just be Jeff Liu's new partner, or if they'll change the teams up like when Lauren Zuke replaced Hellen Jo.

Back in the day shows like Powerpuff Girls that were fifteen minutes were still produced as though they were half hour episodes, just composed of two fifteen minute segments. Nowadays shows like Adventure Time, the new Powerpuff Girls, Teen Titans Go, Regular Show and Steven Universe are all fifteen minutes long, period. Why the change?
I think its probably the direct result of ratings success from pairing new Adventure Time and new Regular Show episodes in the same half-hour block back in 2011.
Or you could trace it back further to 2004-ish when Nickelodeon would play half a new episode of Spongebob along with half a rerun to stretch out premiers longer.
You're just in time. Bayble Cuber's going to watch an inkle dribble adventure from days of old on my holo-pyramid viewer.I'm pretty sure there were 2 new episodes per release for a while...

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Even if Marty did raise Sour Cream for a while, SC is not much older than 18(in fact, he might be a bit younger), that means he have at least raised by Yellowtail for half of his life.
He didn't turn the whole show into a soda commercial - it was still going to be SC's concert - Marty ensured that his angle was front and center, but he did not cut Sour Cream out of the show. Sour Cream cut him off before Marty could introduce him, because he could see that Marty was using the show to further his own agenda, but that doesn't mean that Marty wasn't going to do it.
Marty only gave up on the show after SC told him to shove it.
That sort of this is, unfortunately, often what "hyping up" tends to look like from managers that care more about the money than the music. It's like putting a show on television and then giving it four commercial breaks that cut into its storytelling - Executive Meddling at its finest.
Like I said before, my take on Marty is that he's a guy who - when he does right - does so for the wrong reasons.
I don't doubt that, in his own way, Marty was telling the truth about wanting SC to become a star - if SC had taken his offer and allowed the soda company to sponsor him, Marty would've done everything in his power to ensure that his son became a successful DJ. He would have severely tainted his dream, but he would have also ensured that that dream brought him to the top - because SC becoming a success is how Marty becomes a success by proxy. More concerts means more ads for the sponsor, which means more money for him.
Same with Greg. Judging by the gigantic check, Marty wasn't misleading Greg when he said he would've led Greg to success, money, and fame. And he was doing so for his own reasons, because Greg's success means Marty's success.
Greg and Sour Cream's happiness doesn't matter as much as their success to him, because it's not something that gives him what he wants, so you'll notice that in his dialogue he does a lot of trying to convince them that success will bring them satisfaction regardless of whatever else they think they want in life - that's definitely manipulative, but not untruthful (it's what Marty himself believes, after all). But as long as they go along with the "make Marty successful" program, he's accommodating and even a seemingly nice guy. He's also surprisingly up front about how he only cares as far as they can take him, which is atypical for his kind of character. He's very honest about being a scumbag, he's just good at making people forget that he is one.

Not feeling pity for a neutral character is a sign of good writing...it really shows to go ya, these writers are fine workin'.

to be fair, he even said he was idiot and make mistake.
I think Marty is sort of controling guy, he want sucess for ther client and friend...as long they do as he said, Greg was fed up with him because of that and when thing go wrong SC said the same.
But since the episode is to short there isnt much to said, it was pretty cliche after all.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"My problem with Marty here is that at no point during his introduction does he mention Sour Cream - it's all about the soda.
Oh God! Natural light! He didn't exactly get to that part yet, SC interrupted him...because of the pop.

You assume Marty was raising Sour Cream for the first few years of his life and not the more obvious avenue that 9 years ago was when the last time Marty visited and Sour Cream has been with Vidalia and Yellowtail for most of his life?
