Some people legitimately thought it would probably be something to do with the diamonds, but that was mostly because the title leaks were initially assumed to be out of order. Then some leak from the CN Sayin' app of Ruby and Amethyst playing baseball got posted on Tumblr and speculation increased. When I description for it got posted on the French CN, some people began joking that Lapis would call herself Bob, because the description said that the Gems would disguise themselves as humans. Sure enough, they were right.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I joked about it, because it seemed like a funny reference to baseball from the onset. But in my eyes all joke theories are possibly canon, until they don't happen. Well, mostly. Unless they go against established character motivations or something.
I definitely thought it was a realistic possibility before the leaks happened, because I didn't even see them.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I've always thought "Hit the Diamond" would be about baseball, because otherwise that would be a really weird title. It'd be like if there was a Gravity Falls episode titled "Punching Bill Cipher".
Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...Hitting the diamond where it hurts...right in the diamondo.
Except this title actually sounds not awkward. Her name isn't diamond, it's Yellow...and I bet her and Pink were always at odds with Blue until Pink mysteriously disappeared.
I mean "Hit the Diamond" sounds less awkward than (Punching Bill Cypher)...
You basically described why.

- Clearly the gem in Lion's mane
- Probably going to a new location; the only other cold place was in the opening of "Arcade Mania" (at least he wore boots this time, not Monkey D. Luffy-style sandals with a heavy jacket)
- Steven on Lapis's boat in whatever episode those clips are from
- "Kiki's Delivery Service" (top) and "Mr. Greg"
- "Drop Beat Dad" because Steven is dressed as Sour Cream's roadie
- "Restaurant Wars"
- No clue

Does anyone know if there's any phone wallpaper that is from (or about) the show without it being obvious that it's from the show? I want something pretty that doesn't necessarily look like it's from a cartoon.

Most people were joking when they said it'd be about baseball.
