Recognizes name, but doesn't really recognize da voice.
He's been in nothing I've seen...except for 1 other thing.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.2008 would be a little more accurate, Crispin Freeman played Electro in Spectacular-Spiderman, but yeah, ever since then he's been in a ton of Western Animated series. He played several characters in Young Justice. He's even been in a couple episodes of Adventure Time.
When it comes to anime I know him most from Eureka Seven and Durarara. And you can never forget Kyon from the Haruhi series.
Do I have to even mention all the video game voices he does?

Normally I try to avoid spoilers, but that video showing Greg, Steven and Pearl going to Empire City and getting decked out in tuxedos has raised my curiosity, and the clip doesn't exactly spell out what's going on in the episode. All I can do is guess at why they're doing this. Did Pearl win the lottery? Have a sudden influx of money? How? I can not for the life of me think of a scenario where Pearl winds up rich and/or famous. So this is one spoiler I'm happy to live with.
I remember Doug Walker said that "Alone Together" was the episode that best summed up what Steven Universe was all about. And I'm inclined to agree with him.
The idea of two people combining to form one person, and it being taken seriously as opposed to played for laughs, is a very interesting idea, especially for a kids' show. You can take fusion as the obvious metaphor it looks like on the surface, but that episode gave it a lot more depth than that. It seemed to represent taking the next step in a relationship, in both a physical and emotional sense. And since the show can be said to have a central theme of love and relationships, it works really well.
Stevonnie is an interesting character, despite being a combination of two existing characters.
"The cruelest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." -Ben "Yahtzee" CroshawIt's not taking Stephen's naive innocence nor Connie's easy excitability.

But since Marty is...was in the "music industry" it can also be about him for that reason. Double up on those puns.

And his son Sour Cream is a DJ
I can't see how that wouldn't be about their relationship. It doesn't seem like SU to have a Hate Sink get away scot free

...and Yellow T. hates that, so it could yes be about him.

I don't think this show would advocate beating up an old man for not liking his stepson's interest...as if it were similar to a D-...jerk of an ex-bf telling you to make him a sammich.

"Him" probably meant Marty.
There's no need to beat Marty up. Just keep out of his business and he's plenty capable of destroying his own life.

Yeah man, that's Crispin Freeman.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
