That is already shoot to hell by al the action Homeworld does and Garnet and Pearl experience dosent make it pleasent
For me I would like to see monument to homeworld glory everywhere, making feel Steven small, REALLY small
Pearl is condesending because she is better, pretty much that, she maybe use human concept but a) is make sense to Steven and Connie and B) because Steven request it, her way of being, she still have trouble understanding Rose reasoning(and to be fair, neither Garnet or Amathys) she is just insensitive and that is running theme with CG
Even Rose didn't respect humans (and thus Greg) until Greg pressed the issue.
The CG, despite their stated purpose being defending Earth and humans, did not interact and engage with them until Rose met Greg, and Steven is slowly getting them to associate with humans even more. Because of that, they're very bad at interacting with people. They really do not understand humans. Sure, part of it is bigotry, I won't deny that. They do view themselves as wiser and above the people they protect. But it is not the primary cause.
That is, Homeworld should be obviously draconian from an outside perspective, but considered perfectly fine and beneficial by everyone within it. In fact, I like the idea of it being a seemingly perfect society with everyone happy with their lot in life, until the Gems and Steven show up and start making chinks in the Homeworlders' perceptions of their world.
The only shows I can think of that portray dystopian societies one dimensionally don't focus on adding depth to their world anyway. So I don't think that would be a problem with Steven Universe.

I agree with you. Without a comparisson, Peridot thought that homeworld is a perfect place even if she's not really happy.
When she finally managed to know something new, far less oppresive and more confortable, she could distinguish between a good life and a bad life and.....................well.................Peridot eventually ends insulting a giraffe.

Cow is not the right word, filthy peasent would be more acuarate, the gem are pretty much elve in their dealing and Pearl have a VERY cant argue with elve mentality.
I wont be surprise if Suggar or any in the crew have play D&D before

Gems main flaw is that they are insensitive to everyone, even each other: Pearl and Amathys can comparate unless they feel theaten by Garnet, she make rather bad coment about Amathys and she did her dick move against Greg, not suprising consider Steven is the heart and the show objective is showcast how awsome that can be
D&D(?)...she came from Adventure Time, she had to have played it.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. He either actually means Princess Bubblegum(PB) or Nurse Poundcake...(BP real initials)
The Gems being kind of similar to different sides of Bubblegum, I guess.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Yeah, im from venezuela, Latin america favorite shithole
In fact for all the spanish speaker here in this thread: How you compare the voice with the originals?
In my case I like latin voice from Greg, he suit better his "crazy ex-rocker" persona much better, Garnet sound good until she sing in jailbreak...yeah, Jasper try to sound like the original but come as old, Peridot sound less like invader zim like chararter, Pearl and Amathys sound ok to me.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"There's possibly nothing more to discuss about the actual game itself...it's all 'bout that fan stuff that continues the story into fanon territory.

I know, in my case I shoot myself in the foot because I spolied myself before knowing I can actually download and play the game, so I use to spend my time talkng about whetever Chara is evil or not, the nature of Sans depresion and to try to lure away player into genocide so they can sell their soul in my place

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. As seen by her bragging at the start of SOW, Peridot has only started to reform. She still shifts all responsibility to a perfect leader figure so she can feel free to engage in her hobby of science study. At some point she's going to assume that Steven will automatically do the right thing and be very disillusioned.
I still want to see the moment when Connie and Peridot compare notes on Steven and be both impressed by the things he's done and not talked about while amused at his antics.

That's her confidence builder, sounding superior to everything...it helps her ego beast.
