I've just been binging 3 that were relatively recent.
That wasn't one of 'em.
(˙—˙): I may watch that at some point, but for right now I'm strictly new....newb.
(-_-): Also...stuck on a Comics high and quite possibly a Manga marathon could also happen. On the bright side, I get to read Stephen Quartey Universe comics.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Nobody did any references to Killer BOB from Twin Peaks?
Damn that show was awesome.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.![]()
I mean.
I feel like it's narratively the most likely possibility.
That Moonbase and that Chair and that Console were all said by Peridot to have been for Diamonds.
Steven activated the system.
To me, the most interesting possibilities for the beginning of a Rebellion are a Pearl or a Diamond. The bottom or the top. The middle is boring.
It makes Steven even more unique in a lot of ways. A sort of Prince. And since the show is named after him and revolves around him. Is about him.
Of course, there is the question of how. I dunno that.
Maybe Pink Diamond stole someone else's gem or something. Or changed her gem somehow or. I dunno.
Like, there's a lot we don't know about how gems work? And with speculative fiction. You can make any explanation you want.

We don't even know anything about Pink Diamond.
I think saying that they're too different is.
Like, I can imagine a being like a Diamond choosing to unmake or remake itself, and destroy its previous existence to live in a new form.
Which is notably basically what Rose did with Steven.
And sorta what happens during fusion.
Garnet's gems are purple. Different from Ruby's red and Sapphire's blue.
Rubies and Sapphires are both corrundum but neither is similar to Garnet chemically.
It seems like when gems fuse their gems actually change for the duration of the fusion.
And we don't know that our Pearl was Rose's property.

I don't think why Garnet gave the name she did was explicit.
They had a song about how they made a new type of gem when they fused.
"And it wasn't quite me and it wasn't quite you I think we made something entirely new"
Garnet's gems are visibly a different colour.

The scene where Yellow Pearl is standing next to Yellow Diamond shows she's still yellow.
Also, in the Sky Arena in The Answer, "our" Pearl was white.

In a TV Tropes Forums cardcast deck one of the white cards would definitely be "Bocaj's longest linkdump"
