Hmm, I've been to KYM recently and I found a theory about the Rubies there. How likely is it that they are Obfuscating Stupidity?

Not very.

Unless that theory is also implying rebels-son.

My theory is that they're not obfuscating stupidity, but rather that Homeworld sent a bunch of bunglers who will single mindedly go after Jasper because they really don't care any more about finesse, and are about to do something drastic like crack open the Earth from orbit. They ignore the obvious rebel Gems in front of them because Homeworld isn't bothering with them individually, and so Homeworld ordered them to only bother with getting Jasper because she's the only person Homeworld sees any worth in recovering at this point.

Since only Yellow Diamond seems to be sending forces down, I would want to see another Diamond send their own representatives, and maybe clash with Peridot/Lapis/Jasper. I've had this theory that the remaining three Diamonds have some kind of agendas that they're keeping hidden from each other. And that they all have (or will have) separate interests with Earth, possibly for differing reasons.

Since YD seems to only be sending one ship at a time to Earth, it's clearly not that high of a priority to her. So I'm wondering what would be considered enough to send a whole squadron or fleet there. I also wonder if the other Diamonds even know Earth is still intact. I have a feeling we'll only find out once Steven discovers how to fix the corrupted gems.

Remaining two diamonds.

Pink Diamond doesn't seem to have any standing or influence on Homeworld anymore.

Pink Diamond might not even be alive.

Pink Diomondo might not even exist.

Her design ought be the best looking.

I mean.

We know from both the Diamond symbol on the Sky Arena and the Pink mural on the Moonbase that there was, at one point, a Pink Diamond.

And anything past that is pure speculation. We don't even know if her un-personing had anything to do with the Revolution at all.

Like, I feel like it can be assumed, considering the only structures that indicate she exists predate the Rebellion, while the Homeworld designs of the present have no indication of her in their symbols.

But yeah.

We don't even know if the changed symbol means an un-personing. Maybe she decided to retire and asked to be taken out of the symbol.

There are only 4 Diomondos...that's the automatic conclusion.

Maybe Diomond Pink was tired of being one of the tallest...leaders.

wild mass guess Yellow Diamond hates biologic life because she can't mind control it like Pink Diamond could. She betrayed and defused her "sister" out of jealously.

@unnoun When I said "remaining three", I meant Yellow, Blue and White. I know that Pink Diamond is either powerless, in prison, exiled, or dead.

Ooh, maybe when the show eventually has more regular interaction with the diamonds, a plot point will be the Diamonds Un-person-ing Pink Diamond, and the Gems reminding Homeworld of her existence. This is probably stuff saved for the show's endgame, though.

We've just had a bunch of revelations. Giving us everything at once would be bad storytelling. But there's no way they'd give us a detail as intriguing as that and not explain it eventually. And something as major as a unpersoning of a God empress is bound to be plot relevant (Or maybe it could be a red herring, but that would require some major writing gymnastics to make it not seem like a cop-out)

@Randomness: please tell me one of the shows you watched was Revolutionary Girl Utena. So many bits of Pearl's fighting are references to scenes from that show.
