I'll admit that I don't read Cap's comics, but I'm still annoyed since it's another stupid plan by a big comic book company that gets people all worked up because of a stupid twist that won't last long. I mean, who honestly expects them to keep Cap a secret nazi? I doubt many, since it's so obvious that it's going to revert.

Man, I can't imagine what the younger fans of Cap feel about this twist.
They're a kid. I don't blame em for getting worked up that a superhero they like turned out to be a bad guy.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. He took a huge hit in his heart. He was a kid. Nobody wants his favorite hero becoming evil. Especially kids.
In Friendship Games, I was pretty sad by the fact that they applied that to Twilight, abeit in a sympathetical way, so I can relatate with the kid.

Someone probably should have explained to them the transitory nature of all such bad plot points.
I laughed and I'm angry about it

My problem with this whole debacle is that it's clearly just people who recently watched Civil War getting into comics at an inconvenient time and not understanding what's going on. If people knew what Tony Stark's been getting up to in the past decade or so I don't think many people would watch Iron Man movies. That's just comics. It was a twisty twist clearly setting up to an obvious reveal later on ripped out of context (including future context) to cause a useless internet outrage.
Imagine how you guys would have reacted back during Secret Invasion when we all found out that Cap was a Skrull.
That sounds like it would've been a secret twist...amazing.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Just cause it's a twist to get people riled up doesn't unjustify all the anger. People like me are sick of comic companies pulling these bullshit twists like this so much. But this one stands out more since it's getting a lot more people then just comic fans riled up.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013It's rare for a run to be Jumping the Shark on the first issue, and doing it in such a Refuge in Audacity way. "I'm not just jumping over a shark, I'm somersaulting across rings of fire while dodging a hail of arrows.
I WANT MORE BEACH CITY! WANT! NEED! WANT! NEED!
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
Because it released close to a movie featuring the same character. It's why GiveCapABoyfriend was trending for a while. Sorry to say it, but it's a fad. It'll wash out with the current memes, only to have a newer, cheaper meme wash in. It's an unfortunate side effect of the cross promotion that Marvel does from time to time for its comics, to mixed results. Marvel knows that, as mad as people are now, the ones that read comics before are going to read comics later, the ones who didn't read comics before aren't going to start now, and in the process they've gotten a bunch of excess sales from folks just looking to see what the buzz is all about.
I personally think it's a silly twist, but we don't know much about it other than the fact that it exists. The first page of the next issue could literally explain everything and we just don't know, because it's a serialized experience. If this were implied to be a major twist a la Sam becoming Capt. America, then sure I might be angry, but this isn't that.
Like I said, I'm more angry that companies are still pulling this shit and managing to get away with it, too. They'll likely try this shit again and have it work too again. And again.
Or maybe people will be fed up with this bullshit after this.

Well, I don't read comics anyways, so I'm fine.
